MARK RThey didn’t put the correct miles and gas level in the system so check in on app was all screwed up. Charged my card for miles I didn’t use and an extra day when I returned it before time. On top of I called them and left a message and they failed to call me back to help fix matters.

Sandra SThe reservation system needs an overhaul, as after I requested to check out the truck equipment via a person at a counter, the switched me to a small remote shop that was not open at the time of my scheduled pick up and I had to wait while I was on hold with the reservation team again. This has happened to me every single time when I rent a truck with U Haul over the past 3 yrs. Make the pick up process easier for your customers.
Richard SCustomer service from this location owner was above and beyond. The location is "24x7" which includes mobile app use. We reserved a truck on Sunday. No one was on site. I went through the app, completed all the information, and a screen popped up saying, "go to the counter and tell the attendant that you have already checked in on the app." THERE WAS NO COUNTER OR ATTENDANT. Calling the help line got me a recording noting that I was 20 to 30 minutes in line. I was on a deadline. Keys were in lock boxes, and I was not given any of the lock combinations. I could see the truck I had reserved, but no way to access it. Fortunately, when I reserved I received a text that had a different phone number which turned out to be the owner of the location. He hopped in his car and showed up to the location to personally help me. So... the app SUCKED! But the personal help from the owner was excellent.
Dennis RMy issue was not as much with the unattended/closed location, but with the app process used for pick up and return. The process requires taking and uploading photos of the driver, drivers license and 6 photos of the rental truck. The pick up and return process took close to 30 mins each because the photo uploads took sooooo long, just sat there in frustration as the little “processing” wheel kept spinning.
Mark KDrop off area was very accessible… Business was closed… Used the drop box therefore I can’t rate personnel.

John MWhen reserving the truck, I chose the Counter Pick Up option to make sure that the truck's condition matched the condition alledged in the contract. We arrived to pick up the truck at the designated time, but the location was closed, no one there. We called the number on the door but got no answer. We left, called U-Haul, and spent a very long time on hold. Finally, someone from the location called back and agreed to have someone meet us at the location. Once we returned there, we had to wait another 15 minutes. The inside of the truck was dirty and the gas tank empty. We took a photo as proof.

William RI called the drop off location and left a message, but got no response. Dropped off the truck at 8:30 am the next day expecting to check it in with a person since their operating hours were listed as 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. However, there was no one around. So, I used the check in feature on the app. This worked create. Later that morning, I received a call from another U-Haul location asking if I was dropping the truck off that day. Not sure why that happened.

James POverall U-Haul expense was below below average - this is based on my online reservation being changed day of service because a 15 foot truck was not available at my preferred pick up location. The new location was a 24/7 with no one there and significantly no utility dolly available, which was reserved to meet move needs (load moved was 90% boxes). A Uhaul rep on the phone found a dolly near by, but when I arrived the attendant was unaware and needed to process the rental, which took 45 minutes. I lost 2-hours plus due to this. John at Eternal Daystar Enterprise LLC was very helpful and was able to issue a 15 foot truck in a timely manner and was also able to receive the dolly, since the location I was able to obtain it was closed on Sunday.
James OUnusual pick up system but it worked! Truck held 65 mph easily, reasonably fuel efficient and the office person was very personable. It got the job done and the ramp feature was a game changer!!! I will rent again from that location.
Ronald HI did 24 hours return that was really convenient.
Leon BI had massive problems with the U-Haul app. The employees at this location was extremely helpful with getting the truck rented, released and returned, even though he was actually off at the time. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend this location.
