Self check in states keys are in glove box or behind drivers seat. Searched and could not find. Had to go inside stand in line to eventually find out keys were under middle seat. What a waste of my time. If you don’t know where the keys are going to be then don’t say anything, just tell people to do an Easter egg hunt and if the find the keys they win a half hour or hour of their life back

Lock didn't work, tv was stolen. Chose in town because I'm moving in the same city and upon dropping off the truck at the location near my new address was told I could not leave it there and was charged for an extra day

All U-haul trucks should be equips with LOCKING gas cap to prevent theft of gas. gasoline gauge indicated level of gas inside the tank, but Not the records, records indicated other wise. the lost of gas SHOULDN'T have to pass On to the rental customers .

I reeived an e-mail showing how much fuel was in the truck when I first received it showing 7/8 which is incorrect. I received it with 3/4 a tank and I took a picture and sent it to your company through the self check in process. I drove a total of approximately 7 miles (definitely less than 8 miles) I understood that it’s policy to refuel the truck with how much you used and that the one gas station between the location I last used the truck at and the uhaul drop off was in a horrible spot. I knew coming back without a receipt I was be billed for how much has I used (7 miles worth) I was charged for 5.5 gollans of gas. I believe because the inaccurate email I received of the starting gas when I first received it I have been charged extra. There is NO way I used 5.5 gollans of gas for 7 miles. I was charged to fill the tank up when I received it at 3/4 full. Also, the woman behind the counter put a return date of 4:40pm. I returned it at 3:55pm at the latest. She was the woman working when I was there at 3pm to pick it up and there was I returned it. She was rude and not very helpful. I had not realized I chose the self check in and was unfamiliar with it. I asked if I could just check in worth her and she would just repeat you chose the self check in. I can’t do anything to help you. So I sat there in front of her doing the self check in with almost no guidance from her.

This U-Haul location was just fine, it was the main U-Haul phone line that frustrated me a bit. I called early on a Friday morning to rent a U-Haul (9/29/17). I told them I needed the U-Haul for Friday night, all day Saturday and I would return it on Sunday, 10/1/17. The U-Haul rep on the phone told me to rent the U-Haul from the location I did and then call the number back to request an additional day. She made a point to tell me NOT to tell the place I rent from that I needed it for two days so I did just that. I thought that was strange but figured there must be a reason for this. The reason I needed it for two days was because I was using the U-Haul to move wedding decor/items to a venue and then that night my parents would bring the decor/items back to my house and they would return the U-Haul the next morning. The day of my wedding we had just dropped off and unloaded the U-Haul. I headed home to shower and get ready and on my way home I was called by U-Haul. The woman on the phone sounded very upset and told me I had to get the U-Haul back ASAP and it was due at 10AM. It was about 9:50AM at this time. I explained to her that I called and reserved it for an additional day and she said she did not see that on the schedule. I told her it was my wedding day and that I could not have the U-Haul back until the following day, Sunday, 10/1/17. She then told me that wasn't going to work and she had people there ready to rent it for the day. This really stressed me out!! I told her I would call the 800 U-Haul number and check in with them. I did just that and was on hold for nearly 20 minutes! Keep in mind, this is my wedding day and I had a schedule to stick to! When I talked with a rep she said she saw the additional day NOTE but it was never setup in the schedule. She fixed it and said all was taken care of. I asked if she would call the U-Haul lady I rented from but she said she couldn't do that. I then just hoped I wouldn't be charged additional fees and that the lady at the U-Haul place would understand. In the end, I was only charged what I was expecting and all is well. It was just VERY stressful on my wedding day!!!

I intentionally set up my pick up time before Self Storage opened for U-Haul rentals, however they did not have the truck key readily available. Self Storage staff came out to inform me and I picked up the keys through them 30 min after my pick up time. The manager at Everett Secure Self Storage even told me to "stop stressing out so much" because I was trying to make sure everything was documented properly before leaving the parking lot. I should have trusted my gut instinct to have avoided this mess.. Self Storage claimed the tank was full, however that was not the case. They also charged me for 50 miles I did not drive. I was not reimbursed for the gas but they did fix the mileage error. There was also a huge dent/broken front light they did not document so I had to document on their behalf. As I was about to drop off the truck, I noticed there was no license on the U-Haul whatsoever. Essentially, I illegally drove around a U-Haul truck for half the day. Bottom line, I would not recommend picking up your U-Haul from this location. From beginning to end, Everett Secure Self Storage proved they do not properly document or track their U-Hauls. No license plate, did not provide the key at pick up, incorrectly documented the gas tank level and incorrectly documented the beginning mileage, resulting in 50 miles tacked on to my trip. They are in the customer service industry, and as customers you are trusting whom you work with. When a business consistently fails to properly document their trucks, you lose my trust.

In the past I have always been guaranteed a truck at the location I make my reservation at. This reservation was booked in May for a July move, I had to pick up my truck several cities away. Thankfully Kevin, the coordinator/customer service actually included a fuel credit for my inconvenience. Kudos, Kevin! But I don't think I will chance it again by using Uhaul and their unreliable reservation system in the future. Pickup location at Everett Secure Storage was great, great customer service Stacey!

I just dont like the fact that we paid for everything then we are charged for mileage. We paid $20 for the rent then we filled it up ourselves full tank then we were charged more than we should have been for mileage that was supposed to be included in the $20 bucks.

Has problems with people stealing gas, so they bully you to fill up the tank even when you only go 10 miles.

The uhaul credit card and system did not work for a customer and I along with several other customers had to have 15-20 minutes for it to be figured out. Uhaul system caused checking in and processing my rental and delayed my schedule.

Found it strange that the gas tank was only at half-full. People really don't want to add a trip to the gas station during day of moving. I can understand it when you are done for the day to fill the tank back up to full. Other than that, a good truck and smooth move.

The lady at the desk was very snide and condescending. We drove like 4 miles and she wanted us to drive to a gas station and replace the 4 miles worth of gas. That would have been another mile there and one mile back which made no sense. The truck was fine but there is only one size available.

Truck had soda spill in the cup holder and wasn't very clean. I reserved a appliance dolly and they didn't even have one, had to go to a 2nd location to get it. Person at the first location said I was going to be charged for it. And all I would have to do is pick it up turns out I wasn't and had to go through the whole thing of being charged again.

Better customer service. The lady who was working the desk was absolutely horrible in dealing with me. Very rude,abrubt, and told me I should move to the place that I was moving to.

The technician that took care of me was helpful, but the managers customer service was not all that good. He was using his cell phone at the counter, texting while I waited for about a minute, which I thought was rude.
