Start the rental with more than 1/4 tank of fuel. Maybe have a policy to have at least 1/2 tank at pickup.

Dear Sir or Madam, I found “Spoon Full Svc Moving Company” from your U-Haul website. I made the reservation many days ago, and the mover contacted me at 20:05PM just ONE day before I move, I replied them that they should come to my apartment at 10:30AM. Furthermore, they told me they could not come at 10:03AM JUST 27 MINUTES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. They were so irresponsible. They still charged me, and no custom service at all. I called them many times. I want to file a complaint. What I want are: 1. I could not find another mover since they canceled the appointment in the last minute. We took all the furniture apart, load and upload, and assembled them. It wasted my whole day and some furniture is broken (the furniture cannot be taken apart, but I had no idea what to do due to their mistake). I want them to be penalized and to give me compensation for my loss of one day's time and broken furniture. 2. If possible, you can remove them from your website since they are totally irresponsible. I keep all the proofs of what I said. You can send me an email asking for all the proofs. Thank you very much for your consideration.

My appointment to pick up the truck was at 5 I didn’t get it until 545. Just waiting. The guyAt the front was cursing aBout his boss. And how “if he talks like that again he’s going to bust him “ Very frustrating. The truck was a mess. The wheel had to be turned to the left in order to go straight. He told me I would be discounted “heavily” whatever that meant but I wasn’t.

I filled out most of the rental online, and did the rest at this location. Here, they incorrectly told me that a one-way rental would be cheaper, wrote that I would go less than 30 miles after I put on the website that I figured I’d be going 65-70, overcharging me for the service.

My bill is completely wrong! My bill came back completely wrong! I got charged for 86 miles while I only went between 30-40 miles, closer to 30. They gave no opportunity to confirm and check the milage and just basically pushed me out the door with the truck, then upon returning, took the keys and told me to leave. I asked about inspection or anything, and they told me it was fine and acted like they didn't have time to deal with me. I will never rent from this location again!

Web portal and the clearer estimation of all of the fed charges customer will be charged. Mileage rate is pretty high. At the end of the day is going to be more than $100.

the transaction was ok. recieved the rental in a timely matter. My initial quoted price and what I ended up being charged were not the same. I'm still disappointed with that. this was not explained clearly and I doubt he understood what he tried to convey.

I have rented Uhauls from these guys multiple times this year alone and every time I have the best experience. They are AMAZING!! I would recommend them to anyone!!! I love them and probably will always get my trucks from them.

I’m so overwhelmed by the experience. My husband and I brought my daughter to college and we took the U-Haul to the drop off location as indicated on our contract. They told my husband they would not except it to drive it to another location down the road. This was not acceptable to me as we were in the middle of unpacking my daughter at college. Additionally who knew if they would accept the U-Haul. Then they stated that they won’t take a 26 foot truck to big for there lot. My husband said no it’s a 20 foot. The manager stood up and said well I’m the manager and I made the decision, you cannot leave it here. I in turn stated yes I am this is what my contract says. Jay the manager stated well you will be charged more money. I said no I have a contract sweetheart. Have a great day here are the keys. We proceeded to go outside to leave the U-Haul and Monty a new employee of a week came out and said I will take this for you. My husband handed him the keys and receipt and said good luck with your new position. Monty was the sweetest very people orientated unlike the manager., With a contract it is not my job to transfer a vehicle. You know your experience is bad when another guest says what kind of place am I in, who talks to people this way.

I dropped off the truck at the designated time. I was CHARGED FOR AN EXTRA DAY, AND FOR GAS THAT THE TRUCK ALREADY HAD. The person at the counter was not courteous or helpful. I asked for a print out of the account. He yelled that I will be receiving an e-mail. I was charged on my account before i received the email. I m still waiting for a supervisor or manager to call, even though we have call several times . I understand it was a long weekend but we should at least be receiving an email as to when will they call. The account was automatically charged on the provided credit card.

Make sure all the extra supplies are available. I ordered 2 dollies and 24 packing pads. None of which was with the truck at pickup. We managed without them, but it was an inconvince.

I got the receipt and it says we drive the truck over 400 miles. We only had the truck for only around 3 hours. We only drive around 20 to where we had to go and around 20 back to the place we had to take it back. The receipt says we drive over 400 miles and we didn’t. I’m very unsatisfied with this. When I returned the U Haul, it was never properly checked in and I received a huge additional charge on my account. Calling U Haul, they said their records indicated that I still had the U Haul ONE WEEK later even though I turned it in within four hours of renting it. Thank goodness I caught the mistake - who knows how much money it would’ve ended up being??? This location is very unprofessional, and I do not recommend using them.

Our truck was great. Pick up was easy, staff was friendly. Dropping off, the key drop was broken. Anyone could have walked up and taken the keys from the box. That was concerning for us. We took photos of the broken drop box to record we had placed the keys and contract in the drop box.

I got sent two separate receipts. One 5 days later, where I am now getting charged an additional $20. The new receipt doesn't even have accurate information on it, including the day I returned the truck and the amount of gas that was put in. I'm fucking pissed.

The truck was in poor condition they gave me the truck with a quarter of a tank I went 9 miles and then they said I had taken the truck with Over a 1/2 a tank I was the stupid one not to write down How much gas I had but I did tell my mom I told her we have a quarter of a tank I just didn't write it down never again this location sucks

Guys working the counter were not very friendly and somewhat offputting. I called to see if I could pick up my rental early and was told yes and when I arrived was told no because someone else had it rented before me. I ended up renting a larger truck because my helpers were ready go. The guy remembered talking to me but never even apologized for the bad information or offered to waive the $10 up charge. I thought that was poor customer service. It wasnt a huge deal but it certainly could have been better.

The location is AMAZING and so helpful but the person that called me on Saturday telling me I had stolen the truck was rude and very unpleasant. Obviously I had not stolen the truck as I had to get a code from previous agent to retrieve the key!! She was short and accusatory and rude. I am glad I answered my phone to correct what ever was done wrong but to treat me that way was just not called for.

In order to improve this poor quality service please train employees to be kind and show customers the rental they are paying for instead of giving them the keys and telling them rudely to just find it.

The establishment and equipment were ok. The people we interacted with were not friendly at all though. It felt like we were bothering them. It was just uncomfortable interacting with them and makes me not want to "bother" them again.

After I completed the return on the app and they had even called to confirm the return they told me they could not accept more vehicles due to capacity. They kept it anyway and contacted U-Haul to retrieve the unit so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

The truck was not in working condition.. the ramp did not work... the tires were so pff balanced that it vibrated the mirrors out of place. I called customer service 5 time's trying to heyyyy a different truck

I rented a truck for 2.5 hours only to move my mattress to my new apartment 15 minutes away. After returning the truck I get a call that the dolly is missing from the back of the truck and a strap is broken. When we got the truck there was not a dolly inside and it wouldn’t have even been helpful considering we moved the mattress from the second story down a flight of stairs. We didn’t use straps or even know straps were in the truck. After telling this to the guy calling me, he just keeps repeating that the dolly is missing. I once again tell him there was not a dolly in the back of the truck. So he says he is going to file a claim with uhaul and hangs up. This is really frustrating being accused of taking something that wasn’t there in the first place and breaking something that was never used. I had 2 strong guy friends pick up the mattress, put it in the truck, and unload it. No equipment was used. I am not paying for something that I am not responsible for. Maybe the truck should have been inspected before being given to me or even if they had tried to show me that it came with a dolly, they would have seen it was missing one. It was a simple “sign here. Here’s the keys.” It needs to be a more efficient process if things can just go missing and customers can be accused of stealing or breaking items that weren’t there in the first place or never used.

Staff were friendly and the process was smooth. The only issue I had was I tried to use the uhaul app to pickup the truck, but the truck reserved for me was in the back of the building which I wasn't allowed to access. Not a big deal, but defeats the purpose of using the app to pickup the truck. Would be nice if the truck was already up front for a scheduled reservation.
