Could not use the UHaul WEB site to return trailer after hours. Called support number then talked to drop off site next morning. The person at the site the next morning was very helpful sending a email receipt.

The person that hooked up the trailer did not do it right. Got down the road about 30 miles and heard a clanging. Pulled over and found out she did not tighten down the hitch bolt and chains were not crossed. Also took about a half hour to open the door on trailer. It needed work

Storm Lake location was ok and personnel very friendly, but not my primary choice of location. Le Mars, IA was my primary choice but they said truck choice not available when received 24 hr advance confirmation, but there was one sitting in the parking lot as of the day to pickup AND the rep closed the office at noon on the scheduled day of pickup. I had informed him that it would have been an afternoon pickup so that would have been a problem too! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN LE MARS, IA

Made reservations online, never giving option for local or one way. Kicked out of site at least 3 times Got to pick it up no one there. No note was preparing to drive another hour to pick up when someone showed up. It was a hassle to do business with u haul.

Nice People, Improve: add ice scrapers to the trucks or tell customers they need to bring one. Improve: I had to drive 80 miles round trip to get my truck which was not even part of the schedule when moving crew was to be onsite at specific time. U-haul made it right with extra day but the stress was awful during an ice storm. Plus I coughed up the extra gas money. Truck was new and great! thx

Was raining so a bit muddy in the lot but overall very good

We were initially told we could use Spencer, Iowa as a drop off point and then the day before we rented the truck we were told we had to return it to Storm Lake, Iowa. Which caused us to drive another 38 miles. Very inconvenient for us since we were moving from Storm Lake to Spencer! Also, we rented 6 protective blankets and paid for them, but when we started to load the truck they weren't there so we had to make another trip to the rental place.

No one was there when I returned the truck Called SSC and SL to try to locate someone Finally took pic or mileage and gas and put key in box Person arrived just in time to sign truck in Received a bill for an extra day which was not correct so when I talked to her - she told me why I owed the extra which I did not owe Back to South Sioux location which contacted IA dispatch to figure it out and and was told by them they would take care of the extra charges which should not have been This location needs to let customers know if they are not on the property when the hours are until 5pm -- if out to lunch then a sign should tell the customers when they will return

The lady told me to call the number on the contract to find where to drop the vehicle then the number told me to consult the contract, which said call the number.

I think there should be spare tires. And some way to let the u-haul dealer know when you drop it off after hours.

I will never use U-Haul again. I booked a truck for 152 and it ended up being 210. Then when I returned it my bank account was charged another 42$ not sure why. The tank was full and I cleaned out the back and turned it in on time. Never again!

My 4x4 truck was getting stuck in the mud, no employees on site and it was just a but after noon and it was posted that they were at lunch but I waited over an hour,, had no where to park the uhaul and leave it, ended up backing it in, an employee showed up I told him do to my disability I was unable to unhook the uhaul and the man said he had something else to do and left.

I return here because it is the closest location. They did not even come out of the building to help me unhook. I went on the internet to tell Uhaul that I had returned the trailer.

The dealer had no 10' trucks available on Monday but after hours, went to a different location and brought it back in time Tuesday for our pickup and loading. Thank you, Storm Lake, IA, U-Haul!!!

You need to check the low beam headlights. They only project light about 20 feet in front of the truck

Get the mileage correct before a customer leaves. The fuel was wrong and mileage she changed full from half to full but did not change the mileage. I did take a photo before leaving and showed it when turning in the truck but still got charged for milage I did not use

Very accommodating. The only thing that would have been better was an earlier pick-up time. When I scheduled a Saturday pick-up date, I thought I would pick it up around 8 and get started early. The store doesn’t open until 10, which seems late for starting a move. Fortunately, I was able to get it the night before.

The place opened 20 minutes late, the lady was rude...didn't explain any of the forms I had to sign. Didn't give me the total amount when she ran the credit card. I will not recommend this place to friends and I will not use them again.

Second time using uhaul...wouldnt have used them after my first experience if i had any other choice! I have a location less than 4 blocks from my house but had to drive 28 miles to pick up AND drop off a truck which coincidently cost $.79/mile on top of the few for the truck. No problems picking up the truck. It was actually quite convenient using my phone. I had to work on drop off day. I couldn't make the time to drop off but had a way of getting the truck there if I absolutely had to. I called uhaul. Richard asked what time I'd like to drop off. I told him 4 hours after the original time. He came back on the line said done deal. NOTHING was said about being charged for an extra day! I get ready to leave to drop truck off. I put gas in. Head over and all was fine until I went to leave the mobile site. They asked for an additional $125 for a second day. I called and spoke to Shannon who said there were no notes on the account regarding an extra day and that's what I was being charged for. She asked of I'd like to put in a call review of something like that. I said yes. I got a call from uhaul telling me they wouldn't charge for the 2nd day but I owed $28 for gas. I told her i put gas in. She stated I didnt put enough gas in. I said whatever and that I couldn't pay til Friday. She said she'd send me a primossory note and that would be an extra $30. Not happy, I told her fine! As I said this is my 2nd time using this service and location. Both times ive had trouble. Don't say it can be one way of it can't! Don't accept something if its not correct! I definitely DO NOT Recommend uhaul for your move!
