LESLIE SWe filed the gas at the amount it was when we picked it up. Drop off location was very easy. Pick up location could not get their computer to work, finally had to call a manager to complete pick up over the phone. I was informed that I qualified for a discount if I would return the unit to Cullman, Alabama; but they could not tell me how much of discount. If I had known the amount, it might have been something we could have accommodated.

I had a truck longer than I had it booked because of a snow storm and the fact that I'm disabled and couldn't get help to unload the truck. I stayed in touch with him and explained the situation. Then he called me and threatened to call the police on me. I'm not a thief just disabled. I didn't deserve that..

Vickie DTrailer had not been inspected as ready for rental. To start with, the tongue jack was loose and rusty, and the attendant had a terrible time getting it to go up and down. After getting loaded and getting on the interstate, trailer began to whip behind my truck. I have towed many times and knew that the load was on the trailer properly for weight purposes. After stopping to inspect the trailer closer, I found that one of the tires was 20 lbs lower than the rest. Had to pull off in the cold and pay to get that addressed. Additionally the braking mechanism on the tongue had an issue that felt like it had little to no hydraulic pressure in it. On stops, starts, and hills on the interstate, the trailer felt like it was slamming forward on the truck and it felt like it was jerking backwards on takeoff or heading back up a hill. I have not had issues with uhaul equipment in the many rentals i have made in the past, but this trailer was not well maintained and in some instances was almost scary to tow. I will be picking a different location in the Cookeville area should i need to rent again. Maybe other facilities are more thorough in making sure their trailers are ready to be put in service.
