I am complaining about your process of returns. I wanted to take this large trailer to a customer center in N Charleston on Dorchester Rd, since I knew it is too heavy for me to unhook. I went to a well-established U haul business and was told I couldn't take it there. I had to go back to another location. At that location they were not very well equipped for unhooking a heavy trailer. She was super for customer service but we had trouble unhooking as usual. This is not the first time using U haul that I have had that problem.

The price seemed to be ridiculously increase while I waited a super long time to actually rent your smallest enclosed pull along trailer option. $350 plus to rent it. I needed it for one day, one way. Instead she would only offer 2 days, price kept increasing and for the FIRST time we had to put a deposit down. Prior to this, we always had great experiences. I left without a paper contract because they didn’t seem to know how to put the paper in the copier. They also said they would email it to me. I got it several hours later. I arrived around 4 PM and the agent was ready to close the place up and got mad when two ladies came in around 445. It was not a good experience.
AMIE GLocation was closed when I returned equipment, so no personnel.
Terry BDrivers floor board had lots of dried dirt. otherwise everything was clean.
FRANK ZI had to request, and swap out the trailer. The one that they attempted to give me had balding tires on the passenger side.

ARTHUR MThe lady helping me with my reservation had no idea how to work the computer, she had to call someone and it took 50 minutes before she was ready to hook up the trailer. She didn’t check the lights, I realized I didn’t have turn signals until I was about to leave Charleston during tropical storm Debbie. She also did not attach the emergency breaking cable to my truck. I checked it when I was about 2 hours into my trip in Florence, SC. While getting gas when I noticed it wasn’t connected. I also reserved a dolly to help move boxes and a washer and dryer. There was not one available at the pickup location. I called U-Haul and they could not locate a dolly for a one way trip, so I have to buy a dolly.
