Not a safe area to leave your personal vehicle overnight. Many thefts reported. Difficult to return rental truck due to no employee on premises when I arrived at 1:30 pm. When I phoned the office I was told to just leave the keys in the mailbox.Michael B.

The 10ft trucks should have bucket seating for three passengers. You should have lower mileage rates and certainly the truck fuel should not be on empty, the trucks should have at least 1/2 full tank of fuel.Connie G.

My pickup at EZ was fine, after the BIGGEST NIGHTMARE THIS MORNING . I was at the cherry Ave pickup at 8 AM, yesterday they changed my reservation once then assured me I would have mobile pickup. I did and then when I got there and it said â€œpick up your truckâ€ it then went to the next screen of â€œwe are sorry wait until 9 AMâ€ I needed to be with the truck in Torrance at 8 AM. This was unacceptable and I need to know I can rely on U-HaulMelissa C.

I reserved everything online 12 days before pickup. And the lady at the counter said that they do not have the keys to the truck. So after being on the phone with Uhaul customer service for over one hour. They directed to me the nearest UHAUL at 4045 Cherry Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807. So after I picked up the truck. Over 2.5 hours of time were wasted. And by the time I dropped off the truck in Chino Hills. It was completely dark. I am not happy with the experience at al.Perfecto L.

Checkout was a bit difficult with picture taking and inspection paperwork. But drop off was easy!Ken B.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. We called to say we were dropping off the trailer and would be there shortly. When we got there the open signs were lighted up but the doors were locked. We called the number on our contract and explained the situation and the girl said she would put me on hold and find another place to drop the trailer off. I was then put on hold for over 15 minutes and no one came back on the phone. We then called the number on the door and the man that answered said he would be there in 10 minutes, which he was not. By the time he got there we had been waiting for 40 minutes. He smelled like liquor so my guess was he was out having a liquid lunch. He was not a good representation of U-Haul.Stewart C.

We were supposed to pick up the truck at 2pm, we got there at 1:50pm. The office was closed and when we called the phone number listed on the office window. The person said he's at lunch and he won't be back till another 30 min! We called the main number for Uhaul and directed us to another location. When we got to that location, the front desk person said that the person in charge for uhaul truck rentals is at lunch. I mean seriously???!!! So we waited for about 15 minutes and the attendant finally got back from lunch. So while waiting for the attendant to check on the available trucks. She said oh sorry we're all fully booked today so there's no trucks available! Wow you guys really need to work on your customer service skills! This is the worst experience i have at a rental company and i will never rent from uhaul again! I mean i can understand if your employees are probably getting minimum wage that's why were getting a shitty service, but still it is their job! I've never dealt with so much poor customer service! The location didn't seem to be well equipped to do anything other than a straight-forward pickup. I needed the taillight kit for my car and got sent to another location, it turns out the ball on my hitch was slightly too small and he didn't notice when he connected it (although I noticed the rattling the entire 1000 mile drive to my new home), and I was supposed to fold the furniture blankets before returning but wasn't informed until I turned up at the return location. On top of that, the office was supposed to open at 9 (the same time I was scheduled to pick up the trailer), but the guy was nearly an hour late, which threw off my entire day. I would recommend going literally anywhere else if at all possible.Cassidy W.
When I came to pick up my truck using the mobile device, I got all the way to the section of picking up the keys to find that the keys were not in the lock box. I then spent over 45 minutes attempting to get ahold of someone to get me the keys. Once I got ahold of someone I was told that the owner would come to get me the keys which he did. However, he did not apologize once and was very rude. I was told by a uhaul representative that they would be looking into crediting me money due to the mistake on their part. Of course I have not heard anything back. I have even called and not had my call returned. Worst experience with U-Haul to date!Alyssa F.

I had reserved a dolly but never received it. I was told I wasn't charged for it and there wouldn't be any issue when returning the truck without the dolly. Upon returning the truck, I was asked where the dolly was and had to explain the situation and was later informed that I was charged for it.Anthony R.

My U-Haul was not available at the location specified in my reservation confirmation, so I had to call around and find out where the nearest truck was and then drive to another location which took up valuable move time. I have tried to call several times to redeem the $50 reservation guarantee, but am left on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time. Is anyone monitoring the phones there? Also, the truck wasn't full of gas, which makes re-filling to the right level a guessing game. As a result, I overfilled the tank (and overpaid).matthew S.

Screwed on charges. Went back and spoke to the man. I was charged on the wrong card .. the one I used to hold the reservation. And I was charged for insurance which not I only did I not ask for ... I was never asked by the man if I wanted it. I took the truck with no paper work. A first in all my years using U-Haul. Never used this location before. For some reason your company does not list the U-Haul 4045 Cherry LB 90807 on your website. Nor do you list the one on 5880 Paramount Bl. LB 90805. Why is that. These are two great stores. The I used today should be taken out of the system. Still waiting for my credit. Total b.s..robert H.
