No service at the pick up location called customer service and was told there is nothing they can do and I should pick up somewhere else yet the other place was 30 miles away and no one could give us those miles for free!!!

It took us 3 hours to gain access to the keys to the truck we had been staring at and reserved for 3 whole hours. Our moving help left so we ended up having to move things on a second day and keep the truck longer. With no help. Thanks for ruining our moving day! We will not be back.

Tom DThere won’t be a next time. As my son told me….never use U-Haul again. Corporate computer system glitches are too much to deal with and it ruined my experience. I returned my truck 7/25 and it is still showing not returned in my online account. First, the store didn’t log it in but when they did 3 days later, it would not show returned at U-Haul or in my online account. I spent all week chasing that issue. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Picking up in Fall River was a problem too, due to U-Haul system glitches. Even though I showed the staff my order # and text from U-Haul, they said, “We don’t have your truck and there’s nothing we can do about it. I’ve never been so stressed in my life.
Mark WThe original truck I was supposed to receive was buried under 2 feet of snow and plowed into the spot it sat in. It wasn't until I mentioned it was inaccessible they offered to have a ow truck come get it out but wanted me to try to get it out on my own before they would. Thankfully another truck of the same size was returned just prior to me starting to unbury the truck. You would think if you're expecting someone who reserved equipment it would be ready to go as you only have a limited window of time to get the truck back. It was a terrible start to an already stressful day.

Mark CThis isn't your typical corporate Uhaul facility. It's a small, local place that has a few trailers and trucks attached to an old-timey garage shop. It is very convenient for us.

ELEANOR TThe UHaul system was down nationwide when I went to pick up my rental, so, no van. The rental people were good, but they were in the dark about what the issue was. I had to call back repeatedly to see if the system was in operation, but they knew nothing until it come back on. If the move was critical I would have been more angry than I was, but you could at least notify your network and/or pass on information to your renters- since you have my email AND phone, as I reserved the van in advance. I would have gone to Budget if the delay was more prolonged. Your customer service is apparently non-existent.
Todd MHad to sweep out the truck from the last renter, truck was almost on empty, didn't get truck I wanted.
Allan SI asked to have the trailer ready to pick up at 8am. I arrived at 8:10am and was told it would be about 15-20 minutes before it was ready, apparently some vehicles needed to be moved around to get to the trailer. I came back at 9am and it still took 20 minutes or so.

Madeline BTo Whom this Concerns, I was not overly satisfied with my UHaul Experience today. 1.) The online checking process to pickup via online was a joke. a.) Took nearly 30 mins to do. When I elected to online chat for assistance it took nearly 15 mins for someone / automated computer response to respond. b.) Meanwhile while waiting for text response I called the 800 Number in hopes of speaking to a live person, but to no avail. On hold for over 8mins. c.) I had requested 10 Moving Pads, but received none which I had said at checkout, however you are still charging me the $10 Rental Fee according to this receipt. Not to mention I had t go out and purchase my own moving pads. I would greatly appreciate correcting my charges immediately, and quite honestly some consideration for my wasted time and unexpected additional expenses. If my charges are not corrected I will be contacting American Express to dispute the entire invoice and hold payment till I am satisfied. In closing don’t expect that I would recommend your company or your services based on today’s experience. Too bad since I have rented from UHaul in the past. Respectfully Tom Gendreau

Gary LI participated in the 24/7 option since the location was closed. What a nightmare! I arrived at 11:30 and it took until 1pm for me to be able to leave with the vehicle. I waited over a half hour just to have my license and picture verified. Then when I finally had a person (Nancy) to do this I was required to provide 2 additional contacts to verify that I was who I said I was. Finally, I was verified and able to take the van. However, to add insult to injury I had to have it back in 2.5 hours instead of the 4 I had paid for because it took U-Haul so long to check me in. The computer system was down. So even though it was not MY fault it took so long, I had to hire people to move the furniture so I could have the van back by the reduced time. I am very disappointed in this service. (There was no problem with the location, just the U-Haul system)

Claude GThe pickup was after hours 7:30 pm and thank god Halicia via a phone center from South Carolina came to the rescue. She helped us with picking up the truck after hours. She was amazing after another girl said she couldn’t accept my new license because it was paper and just ended the session and said come back another day. Halicia asked for additional ID and gave us solution to fix the issue after we almost regretted renting w U-Haul after the company moved the pickup location 36 miles away so 72 miles round trip the day before. Halicia saved the day and saved me telling everyone about my terrible experience.
Robert ODealing with F E Braytons was one of the easiest thing I ever did. They were kind, very professional and were very attentive to my needs. I would highly recommend anyone that needs to rent a vehicle to go see them.
