No backup camera, dim headlights, less that 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. Then, I was charged for 2 days when I had the truck for 5 hours, refund was issued for the day charge but not the assessed taxes.

Everything about my experience was negative. I reserved a 20 foot truck to help clear out a friend’s house who just passed away. We are mourning and all upset. I went to go pick up the 20 foot truck and got in and the engine was dead. He said the biggest truck he had was a 10 foot. That was inadequate for what our needs were but he had no other trucks for us. We had to take the 10 foot truck and hope for the best. The 20 foot truck had a ramp and all of the space we needed. The 10 foot truck Had no ramp and inadequate space for what we needed. What should have taken us two trips took us five and not having a ramp made me throw my back out and minority injured my wife’s hands. Not having a ramp was completely detrimental to our ability to move safely and not having a 20 foot truck that I reserved made what would have been a pretty straightforward experience being in incredibly difficult. I expect an agent to contact me immediately (I was informed the dealer couldn’t do anything and I had to speak to somebody in customer service so let’s go-I expect somebody to reach out to me IMMEDIATELY. I expect a full refund for my experience or I will be taking this to Twitter and the online forms. To say I had a negative experience is an understatement.

I reported to the receiving personnel the issues about the braked and the fact that we had had an unfortunate incident heating the bumper vehicle in front of us and he did not care to hear about our experience and dismissed us by saying everything will be fine, "call Uhaul". I was very troubled by them.

Requested a 17’ and received a 15’. The truck was not swept out (i have pictures). The staff was slow and i spent over 20 mins waiting for both pick up and drop off. Requested a pickup at a different closer location and was routed here instead, which then cost me additional miles. Will likely try different rental companies next time.

Equipment was clean. Staff said truck had 1/4 tank but it was closer to 1/8. I got a low fuel indicator after having driven only about 10 miles. Truck had extremely jerky movements that came and went. Couldn't tell if it was fuel intake, or tow/haul setting, or demons or what. We informed the staff upon return.

The staff was friendly and the trailer appeared ready. However once we loaded the vehicle on it we saw the front tire was flat. Very frustrating to rent equipment for a 500 mile trip and not have it be ready and in good shape. Commercial tire service guy came out quickly and changed it.

Don’t change pickup locations from the location that was picked by the customer. This was changed on pickup and drop off for us. The pickup was over an hour round trip when the original pickup location was 10 minutes round trip. The employees were nice and professional.

I passed the UHaul location because there was no posted signage. The location was behind a hotel and the office was in a hotel. The only downfall is no visible uhaul signage. If you are dropping off an auto trailer at this location and never been here, it would suck having to drive around twice with a trailer. Overall this place met my needs.

At first I had a great experience but when I went to return the truck as planned, these two employees wouldn't honor the agreement made by the owners son, I had fallen into a rental scam and had a full Uhaul ready to move when I finally accepted the fact. Which left me with a empty house I had to get out of, two kids and a dog. I explained this to the employee, when i went back the first time to either pay an additional 5 days OR keep the storage unit i just rented the night before to move all of our belongins into it until I could secure another home for me and my kids. Which is why i went there to ask how much it would cost to keep it (so i didn't have to move it to storage and then move it again), but my decision regardless would have been which ever was the least expensive, keep in mind my storage unit (which i already paid for) was $200. After explaining this the kind young man, I beleive his name was Yui, he indicated that he would waive the added costs if i brought it back on Sunday (which I did). Honestly that was the best thing that had happened to me in a while (considering my situation). I almost thought that there are still good people in the world....But then when i took it back, the guys that were working basically rolled their eyes and said I had to pay an additinal $500+, when I had already paid nealy $400. It was literally sitting in my driveway the entire time, because I still had to go to work. Not only that after moving my belongings into the detached garage, where we were moving to, I decided to hire movers, my body was in so much pain, from moving everthing into the uhaul and then into the garage, I figured how much could it cost for two professionals to move what i had already moved into the apartment less than 100 ft away...any guesses......I thought if they ripped me off at most it would be $500, try $1370 ALL MY SONS MOVING are CROOKS. DON'T be fooled people. I am exhausted by people and their dishonesty just to make more money. Fuck Ive been on my own since i was 17, raised 3 kids on my own, I work hard to get a head but how can I ever when EVERYONE company in this world just wants to provided you with the least amount but charge you the most. I am old enough to remember a time when it was the exact opposite. Its unbelievable to me and honestly disgusting.

The charged my trailer for 19 days even though I returned it on June 15th. The camera footage will show me pulling in the back on June 15th. Now I’m going thru hell to get my money back for 17 days that I did not have the trailer.

This location was very sketchy. It felt unsafe as a single woman. It was located behind a very shabby hotel. There were no signs saying to go to the motel front desk to check out your rental. I finally had to ask a random stranger. The man at the hotel was friendly and helpful, but there’s no way I would recommend anyone go there.

I called to ask if I could return the truck 1 hour late and was told that was acceptable without penalty. When I checked out, I was charged an extra day fee along with extra charges for the additional day. When I asked about these charges, I was told there was nothing they could do and I would just have to deal with it. Disappointed to say the least. Use another location if possible.

Truck was Dirty. Rolling back door was VERY difficult to use. Radio antenna was broken so reception was VERY poor. Check Engine light came on while driving. Very difficult to communicate information to person working the counter. Did NOT have the equipment I need for my deliveries available for rent when I arrived. Customer Service at UHAUL had to help me get a new truck. It was to large for my need and cause me to use more gas than I should have. I should have been notified if equipment was going to be unavailable before I got there.

Gas was not full when I got in the truck but he told me I had to fill it to full or I will be charged extra. Then I told him I needed truck from the time I left there which was 6pm until next day at 730 pm my receipt said I would be charged 19.95 fir that he charged me 40 .I feel I was not treated fairly I feel I should get put of my money back. I will be complaining t I a corporate office as well

Not lie about the gas. You told you haul we returned it at an 8th of a tank and we were charged 63.00. Thank good we took time stamped photos shown it was returned at a quarter of a tank like we were told to return it at. We were charged 30.00 for surcharge then 33.00 for 6 gallons of gas. Im still trying to get our money back!!

The truck didn't have any lock for the cargo department and I didn't have a fitting lock with me. As a result, a person opened the cargo department (while I was bringing more boxes) and stole several backpacks and suitcases from me. I recommend including a lock into the rental equipment to prevent such issues for other customers.

The staff was great, the van was mostly clean (there were a few bits of trash in the cargo space: two drawer handles that had broken off a dresser or something, a silver hinge, and a highlighter pen), and pick-up and drop-off were fast and smooth. My only concerns were that the tank was empty when I picked it up (almost $120 to fill) and the check engine light was on the entire time.

Lied about charges. Only had vehicle for less than three days and returned to same dealership as picked up and that somehow amounted to almost $400. Check out lady lied about mileage, check out guy was too busy staring at his phone to give a shit about my questions until I started to talk to my partner about why he didn’t give us a receipt. Rushed me through the check out process and when I mentioned the mileage thing the initial lady said she’d fix at checkout, he coped an attitude and said it wasn’t his problem and to call UHaul. The truck was a gas guzzler and needed $90 in fuel and then they have the audacity to charge nearly $400 for a move within the same county. Ridiculous. Never again.

Agent at site wanted reference which was unexpected and should have been something that should have been asked for at time of reservation if really needed. Agent was not very helpful and explained absolutely nothing. Here’s the keys was basically it. I prodded him to tell me which truck it was since he didn’t seem to need to tell me. Truck was reasonably clean being that it was not in a location that could wash and vacuum it. Liked the way uhaul tracks damage and what not. Just wish we could add pictures to it to help cover ourselves.

I reserved a 17 foot truck with a box dolly and moving blankets. They only had a 10 foot truck available which had sticky stuff all over the steering wheel, a check engine light on, the headlight switch was missing and when i tried to fill it up with fuel, it leaked out the fill tube all over me. since the truck was so small, I needed to double moving miles, increasing my bill by $50. I'm pretty disappointed in Uhaul

I am very happy to be able to rent a trailer in Monroe! The gentleman from whom I picked it up had to call someone to tell him how to process everything on the computer (took about 10 minutes) and he didn't seem to know how to hook the trailer up. Not a problem for me, but make sure you know how (or read the documents U-Haul sends you with your contract). I had to pull a wiring extension off a different trailer to reach my vehicle and there was a little debris left in the trailer by the last user, but still better than going 20 miles away to get a rental!
