Super happy with this location. However, this was not our original pick up point. Our original pick up point was with Ild Trace Outdoors in Houston MS. We arrived for pick up and they did not have out truck or any alternatives. They didn’t attempt to assist us in any way and seemed to act like they had not received an order and never get trucks. Don’t know if it is U-Haul’s fault or Old Houston’s fault, but the experience was super frustrating and had us drive forty minutes for no good reason “. When then had to drive an hour to Fair View Portable in the other direction. Fair View was wonderful, and I would recommend them in isolation, but the whole experience has me second guessing ever recommending or using U-Haul

We were delayed on the time of pickup so we were told to come back an hour later…came back and hour later to be told the big truck we rented wasn’t available due to tire issues…they didn’t have another truck so we had to drive to Ripley to get another truck which was smaller which led to more mileage and more trips to move our furniture. The truck front end sounded like it was gonna fall out from under it. It moved our stuff but wasn’t a good experience.

Poor customer service picking vehicle up and you didn’t have the vehicle that I reserved. I reserved a 15 foot trailer and all you had was a 26 foot trailer. I reserved a 2 1/2 months prior.

I had selected to receive a pick up in Oxford, MS, and was not informed until the day before that nothing was available in Oxford. I am unsure why it is possible to reserve a Uhaul for a certain location if there are no guarantees they will be available.

The pricing. When I originally ordered it I was meant to pay $100 less, but after contacting the place I requested to pick it up at they wanted me to change the day and when I did the price jumped. That coupled with the fact that they didn't end up having the truck there and I had to drive over an hour to the closest uhaul place. The person there was super nice thankfully but uhaul needs to do better about getting trucks to closer locations to people. Also the original place I wanted it picked up at was rude to me so that sucked.
