I made a reservation fort a 10-footer from a location that in actuality only had two 26-footers. Had to go to another location. I spent 55 minutes on the phone (half of that on hold) just to get my truck. Everyone with whom I dealt in person or on the phone was very helpful.

The truck I ordered was not available until 3 hours after I had it schedule. The phone number on the reservation was not correct so I was not aware of this. There was a larger truck available, but there was no compensation for the larger truck. Also found that there was a wasp nest in the passenger side door jam, and my son was almost stung several times. Wesley was very polite, but said he was not able to accommodate the issues because it was a busy weekend, even-though I took a truck he did not have reserved and returned it early enough that he could rent it again that day.

One of the dollies we ordered was not supplied. THE MOVING HELP WE PAID FOR WERE THE WORST MOVERS WE HAVE EVER HAD. IT TOOK US TWO DAYS TO MOVE WITH MANY OTHER PEOPLE HELPING. THEY WERE ON THEIR PHONES THE ENTIRE TIME, STANDING AROUND, ETC. THEY SHOULD NEVER BE USED BY ANYONE FOR A MOVE.

emergency exchange of tow dolly due to loss of pin. Given a new dolly that once hooked the car on made a foul noise. Sounded like the wheel bearing was broke. Attempted to exchange the next day but no other dolly available. The person who was helping us had no clue how to use the system to switch out the dollys. Our contract was canceled & couldn't figure out how to fix it. Had to call customer service for help.

The original order was a complete distar from start to finish. The original pickup location was 10 miles away up a mountain. They never answered the phone that you gave us. When we went to pick up the trailer, they were closed and had been for at least a week which why no one ansered the. NO one at UHaul knew anything. We finally got a trailer locally and they were excellant.

Wesley went above and beyond to help us . We had rented a 26 ft truck and realized it wouldn't make it up the mountain where my brother lived. We took it back the next morning to get a 20 ft. Wesley called around to find us one and he took the time to take one of his trucks to another location to get a 20 ft for us. Also Carolyn was a sweetheart. The screws in the u-box we were given came loose, causing the box to buckle and many of our belongings to be scuffed, damaged, and some of our art work was destroyed. One particular art work I owned was an extremely exclusive, hand signed piece that was crumpled into a ball and ruined. Another frame that had glass was shattered and the expensive border was cracked and ruined. The box was packed properly with the art work and everything else placed as safe as possible. Nothing would have been damaged if the literal walls of the box hadn't come apart. Can't believe the u-box turned out to be so unsafe, we're lucky we didn't lose more and that nothing fell through the literal holes in the floor. Won't ever be using u-box again nor recommending it to anyone. Mostly just surprised to have received such low quality, hazardous equipment from a brand I used to think was reliable.

Telephone number for drop-off site provided on contract went to a location in Tenn, not where I was told to drop it and they forwarded me to another national number which never picked up. I called another location in Lenoir, NC, but they told me they were leaving at noon and to drop the key in the orange box. I assumed this box would be on the side of the building but it was out in the grass by parking lot hidden by other trucks. Bad set up.

The original location in Lenoir Jason Mart on Wilkesboro Blvd. was a joke. Poor representatives of your business. Wanted me to take of trailer and back truck with trailer on it. Owner said he was unable to do it and to just go somewhere else. So I went to Fairway Tire where they said they get a lot of complaints on him. Poor service!

Need to improve the computer system there. It took over 30 minutes to process my transaction. Need more people dedicated to this part of the business. One person was trying to juggle too many responsibilities and it made for an impossible situation for him and frustrating situation for multiple customers. If this had been my first experience with Uhual, I wouldn't be using the company again.

Tried to rearrange date to pick up u haul, but employee didn't inform Manager who then cancelled me out, so had to re schedule when I came to pick it up as per my original time. I didn't get a reason for him not calling me back before he cancelled me. So probably will not use this dealer any more. Jim

Fairway Auto never showed up on a Uhaul search. I knew they were there. Shame they didn't show up on a search. Fairway has been there for decades and same as a Uhaul dealer. Good people.

When I dropped the uhaul off, the lady working took my name and number (just like the pickup location, she had no idea what I was talking about). The store was incredibly messy and seemed rundown as well. I simply gave her my keys and left. I promise that I am normally not one to complain, but my Uhaul experience was very poor and disappointing. I will not be renting from Uhaul again.

I had originally reserved a 10 foot truck on 10/18/16 at the Uhaul moving and storage of West Hickory 331 US Hwy 70 SW Suite 101to be picked up on 11/11/16 which I had to drive an hour to get. I got a phone call at 730 am on 11/11/16 stating that location did not have my truck available and was given the name address and phone number of a location where a truck would be but they could not tell me if this place would be open. It was Veterans Day so unclear if it was open or not. The regional office was unable to get anyone at the number provided to me and stated that place did. It even exist. They gave me the run around and I actually had to drive an add titis all 40 mins out of my way to go pick up a truck. They did not even let this place know that truck was reserved and that we were coming. So we had to wait another 40 mins there while they had to get everything ready. It was a total mess. On top of all this a lady named Arleshis from the regional office hung up on me and was extremely rude. This all after I had asked them to speak with my husband because I was driving. I am not familiar with hickory or lenoir area and he is. Her response was we can text u the Info. I explained I am driving and my husband is not with me could you please call him and give him this information and make sure we are even going that way or if it is even close to where we are going and she hung up on me then called right back because she didn't have my home number to call my husband. I'm so aggravated at u haul and the services. The hassles I went thru I feel I should not even be charged to use the truck. It is inexcusable and never again will I use ur services.

Registered on line to speed up process, had to wait over am hour to pick up a truck. Store was dirty and cluttered with wide variety of stuff. After rented and completed my task, returned the truck ahead of time, had to wait over an hour just to give back keys and sign papers. Next time will definitely use a different store.
