I had booked the UHaul to drop off closer to my destination, but got a call while I was travelling that the original location couldn't take the UHaul anymore. Instead, I was shuffled to this sketchy location to drop off the UHaul that was about 15 miles out of my way (round trip). It was very hard to find out how to get into the parking lot. No clear signage from the *busy* Pacific Ave. Once I got into the parking lot, there was nothing that indicated what to do. I parked the uhaul, took pictures of everything, walked to the front where it looked like there is an office and found it to be closed (this was still early afternoon). Sign said to check out on the app, so I had to go back and redo all the photos in the app. The location has a serious overgrowth problem and not enough space to take photos conveniently. The other thing that was frustrating about this booking is that I started my booking by giving my pickup and drop off time. Just like I do whenever I rent a car and the price I book/quote I expected would cover that time. I only found out after dropping it off that I was given exactly 24 hours from pick-up time. I had said I would drop it off by 7pm. You should have just told me it would be three-days charge. If I had known you hadn't accounted for the extra few hours I would have adjusted my pickup and drop off time appropriately. Felt like a bait and switch.

Place was behind a shared facility. Easy to find and easy to park the truck. The check in process and key drop off were easy as well.
AVINASH DWorst experience I've ever had. The guy was twenty minutes late to even open the store. Had zero customer service skills. The truck was OK at best. Has a power steering issue. Power steering pump screams before even fully turning. I paid for a $20 rental, and was charged $40 for mileage. I drove 29 miles. I was also left with 1/8 of a tank, I put $15 in, dropped it off with 1/8 of a tank, and was charged $9 for fuel. Overall charges of $95 for 3.5 hours usage. That's completely offensive. I will never use Uhaul again. I want my mileage charges back because that is garbage being charged $1.39/mile and fuel after I put fuel in the truck. Especially for the garbage service I received.
JOSHUA CI had to drop off in a location that was far from my original drop off location. When I got there I had to pull around and park in a field with no clear idea where to park. The field had huge water puddles and there were goats roaming around.
ANGIE MI came in there was two guys behind the counter and instead of walking down there and bringing the truck to me. Instead they gave me the keys and I had to find it. And a good thing I walked around it cause the door was open. I'm 65 years old and disabled and I had no business in the yard

FABIANA PMy rental experience was generally smooth, though there was initial confusion as my reservation was not immediately found in the system. Fortunately, Mohammed provided excellent assistance, ensuring that I received the trailer I had booked, and the process went seamlessly thereafter. I returned the trailer within five hours, well ahead of the full-day rental period. It would be highly beneficial if U-Haul considered offering a discount for early returns, incentivizing customers who efficiently use their rental time while optimizing fleet availability.

MICHAEL BRental process was easy, truck was clean except a milky substance that was splashed all over the inside windshield, location was great for us. However the grumpy guy behind the counter that helped us when we picked up the truck had the personality of a rock. When you have a job like that you should probably be friendly to your customers! He seemed annoyed that we were even there at all.... making him do his job. Rude!
NIKKOLE MI returned after hours but the parking lot was still full of cars and cars for sale were parked in the same lot as the u haul return and could easily cause a traffic jam.
MADISON ATypically the gas in a U-Haul is filled when you pick it up. I have never experienced picking up a U-Haul that was less than half-full. Not sure if this should be maintained by the facility. Also, I was unsure why I had to register and provide all of my details again when I arrived, if I did everything when I booked it.
TATIANA SI was provided a different trailer than what I rented. The ratchets were so wet and rusty that I got covered in rust trying to ratchet my vehicle in place. The worst part is that one of the tire straps was not long enough to hold my average size tire, it must have been damaged and cleaned up to look ok. Overall, I'm horribly displeased with this U haul experience.

JOHN GI had a positive experience overall, thanks to the excellent service provided by the staff. In particular, Mohammed was outstanding—he was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the process. The reservation, pick-up, and return were all seamless, making the transaction hassle-free. However, there were a few issues with the equipment itself. The chain connectors on the trailer appeared to be jammed or possibly bent, making them difficult to tighten securely. Additionally, the trailer was unfortunately too narrow for my needs. I attempted to load my riding lawnmower, but the short and steep gate made it impossible. In contrast, other providers offer similar trailers with longer, flatter gates, which are much better suited for loading equipment like a lawnmower. Overall, while the customer service was exceptional, the trailer design and maintenance could use some improvements to accommodate a wider range of needs.

JIN KThe individual location was good. The overall experience with the online reservations and my interactions with the uhaul agents that called me to confirm reservations was awful. My pickup location kept getting changed to a different city and nobody was on the same page at any point in the process. I was receiving calls from 2 different representatives at the same time and even had one call about my reservation and getting a truck when I already had one for 2 hours. The entire process was beyond frustrating a 0/10. I do not plan to ever rent a truck from uhaul again if I can help it.

Didn’t want to answers questions, didn’t explain anything to the point he didn’t even tell us where our 26’ truck was in the lot. We had to go back in and ask… I then called the next day with a few questions of what time and what destination I wanted tot take the truck to and the male employee had no idea how to answer me and gave me his bosses number. In which I called and left a VM and still two days later no response. This place is creepy, dirty, they are completely unprofessional. Nothing you want to deal with while moving!
