The franchise person was very helpful but my truck was not there when I went to pick it up at the reserved time. He gave me the uhaul phone number. From there on uhaul was not at all helpful. I was on hold for over an hour, only to be disconnected. I tried the chat several times, was disconnected, and when I finally chatted, she just gave me phone numbers to call.Melinda B.

There were no issues. Both attendants (picking-up and returning) were busy with other clients but provided great customer services. Note - the website says the van is good to move queen mattresses but we found it very difficult since there's a very tight fit.Eva G.
When I got there to pick up the truck, I was given the keys but a car was blocking the truck so I could not access it to drive it. I could not wait to locate the user of the blocking vehicle, so I had to leave it. My plan was to return for it, but my day was too hectic to come back for it like I'd planned. When I returned the keys, I was charged for two days and insurance. I expected to be charged for a day, or was hoping the charge would be waived as it was not my fault I wasn't able to access the vehicle when I was given the keys. The guy who worked there offered me nothing, no exceptions, no refund, no grace, no return on the insurance charge, nothing. I'll never select that uhaul again.Tamika B.

Today i got a call from u-haul checking the equipment that i have return in on the same day which was yesterday, This make me feel like i was trying to still a dam truck. When I return the equipment that S.O.B was everything good do i need to sign something he said that your are good. The location I chose was changed to a different location for pick up. When I arrived the truck was ready. I order a furniture dolly and it was not available. My deposit has not been refunded. They coded cash when it was a debit card. Rental 143, amount paid from card was 243. 30 miles allowed and 23 miles used. 24 he one way rental. Inaccurate inventory resulted in not obtaining the furniture dolly which we reserved online. As it was on the reservation, verifying inventory and, if needed, contacting the customer ahead of time would be advisable.Samue C.

Complete bait and switch. Order was confirmed and then when I showed up it wasn't there. I could either pay more money for a higher price trailer or get nothing. At that time I had no alternate so I picked the higher option. I was even nickel and dimed to pay for another day because I returned the trailer a fee hours late. The online process to reserve a unit is very simple and fast to use. The teller is very accommodating and kind.Reynaldo L.
I made reservations for a truck 3 weeks in advance for a 10' truck at a specific location (per website). This location was 4 miles from my starting point. 1 day before pick up period, I get an email from U-Haul stating that a 10' truck has been confirmed for pick up at 12 noon (3 hours later than when I originally reserved vehicle) and at a different location -- a lot farther away. I called U-Haul, and they said my original location did not have a 10' truck available there and thus they automatically just changed my pick up location (but of course, did not adjust the mileage -- which then my miles was over due to the change in location further away). The new location took too long to process the paperwork, so was not in and out. Not happy with the U-Haul approach. When I reserved the truck size (again 3 weeks in advance), the location selected was one that came up as available with that truck size. The truck should have been there (at the original location).Nancy B.
Gas was quarter tank less than what was in truck. Also, Safemove insurance was added to contract when specifically told not to. The lady working could not speak English well and claimed it was the "system" that put the safemove insurance on the contract and not her even when I told her i don't want it. Rude, unprofessional, dishonest, and they tried to charge me 4 times the rental amount and when they were unable to do so, they told me they were going to report the trailer I rented stolen if I didn't bring it back immediately. They also lied to their corporate office and stated that I obtained the trailer without proper contracting and authorization and that I left the property with it unlawfully yet I signed and obtained a copy of the contract while in use.Paul H.

Mr. Mohammad lied to me. He stated that the first 70 miles I would not have to pay for. I did a total of 57 miles. The attendant did not want to give me a receipt and I was truly over charged. For a truck costing 29.99 my total bill was 126.37 to for being in town. I was ripped off and the customer service was horrible. I will be getting in touch with the Better Business Bureau on this matter.FELICIA C.

The gentlemen behind the bullet proof screen DID NOT speak ENGLISH!!!!!!! And when I called for directions he HUNG UP on me. They need to train ENGLISH speaking people to handle the U-Haul portion. Very confusing and uncomfortable to talk to. VERY SLOW!! The truck smelled of SMOKE!!donita B.

Absolutely terrible service. Took nearly a half an hour to finally pick up the truck once the clerk started typing in the information. When she was finally done she just handed me the key and said "You know which truck?" I said no because I had no idea which truck I was supposed to use but she looked at me as if she was surprised that I didn't know which truck on the lot was my rental. She eventually slid the keys and contract to me and then I had to try different doors with the key to see which one would open up. Absolutely terrible experience and I am strongly thinking about never using UHAUL again if they allow people like this shop owner to be retailers.JOHN F.
