The staff is very professional and attentive. The first truck that I got had a tire issue and they were quick to respond to resolve the issue and showed concern for my safety. I was placed in another vehicle right away and did not feel inconvenienced at all.

The rental experience was great, however I will never rent this particular Dodge cargo van again. 1. I did not like that the windshield wipers did no t work, 2. the rear door kept indicating that it was not closed when it was preventing me from locking the van doors. 3. There was no (that I could find) knob or switch to turn on the cargo lamp. 4. The rear door (passenger side) seemed to have a problem closing unless forced. 5. There was a problem adding fuel, the pump kept turning off as the gas was added, I had to hold the fuel nozzle just above the fuel tank entry point to add fuel. Other than that the van itself drove and handled well.

The truck did what I needed it to do but it was pretty beat up. There were dents and damage all over the truck. It had stickers marking each spot which made it stand out worse. You could see rust on most of the dents so you know they have been there for a while. It smelled of smoke. There were cigarette burns in the seat and the speakers were blown and there was mulch left in the bed. I had to ask someone to bring a broom so I could I sweep it out. I would have appreciated if he swept it out but I was just happy he brought me a broom. I just expected more from a place that rent vehicles. Not sure if that is a reflection on U-Haul or the rental place but I will look elsewhere first before picking a vehicle. I had the feeling that people see that and decide to do what they want with the truck because it's not like they could make it much worse.I had a better experience with the tool rental side of this place.

First...needed hitch on truck. Drove up to St. BARBABUS Rd UHaul. They installed the basic hitch under the truck but never even asked if i wanted or needed the extension, ball, or electical. They knew i was renting a UHaul trailer so you tell me when no electrical is appropriate to haul a trailer? I had to take it to the Hitchman and pay another $235 to get the extension, ball, and electrical installed. Then I called to see about picking up the trailer at the Waldorf Your Space, and they inform me I'm not picking it up at that location....no message telling me this ahead of time. I had to drive to Accokeek store to get it. Frustrated, but ok...went to Accokeek only to find out it had a flat tire so they couldn't rent it to me. Now I'm getting upset. The manager said he would call the Oxen Hill store, where I now had to drive to pick it up, and he told them to give me half back refund. Ok, this helped calm me down some so i went to Oxen Hill to get the trailer and they said they could not give me the refund, that i would have to get it when i turn the trailer in at my destination. I called Oxen Hill when i got home and asked them to email me a confirmation for the refund and the guy said, no problem.... i txted him a second time because he had not sent it, but got no response. Never did get it. Ok.. moved back up to NY, turned the trailer in at Mannsville, N.Y. but they said if i didn't get the refund at Oxen Hill, I wouldn't get it. Sooo... Oxen Hill lied to me. I did not get the refund as promised. I feel I should be refunded for the entire cost for all the problems i had to just get the equipment. Just in case you feel i may be right or at least send me the $100 refund, please just apply it to the credit card I used at time of purchase. At this time, I will NEVER use UHaul again and will tell all how bad it is. If I receive a refund I will be apt to change my way of thinking and give a better response to those I speak to. I believe UHaul needs to re-examine those who are running their rental stores, and their/ your policies. It is definitely NOT in favor of your customers. You know...the ones that are keeping you in business. Totally dissatisfied, W L Brown

Clean the inside (where the driver and passengers sits) of the trucks, the truck was filthy dirty with dirt, particles, trash and dust. I had to wipe the steering wheel it was so disgustingly nasty. Just because the truck is old it doesn't mean that it should not be cleaned inside and outside! I have allergies to this kind of filth!

Uhaul needs to make sure their servers don't go down while people are in a rush. Just kidding, the uhaul team was quick to react to the system not responding with some crazy error code and was able to get me out of there on time. Thank you

Rented a Uhaul caravan for approximately 8 hrs. Started the process online and the transaction was seamless. However, I would recommend thorough cleaning of the inside of your vehicles as this one was filthy; especially the back cabin where I had to place clothes that were not in boxes
