The lady who worked the desk was incredibly helpful and apologetic for the trouble of having my contract changed with no notice. She said the uhaul regional manager told her that my deposit would be refunded by cheque. She thought that was unacceptable, and refunded the deposit for me from Falcon Storage's debit machine. I would recommend that people use Falcon Self Storage and Powder Coating. I would not recommend using uhaul to anyone. A move is stressful enough without having a contract changed with no notice, and deposits being refunded via physical cheque. I am not impressed.

I had to sweep out the u-haul. It took 40 min to process my rental as the desk attendant was not familiar with the new way of taking a picture of the driver's license. I was not informed that there was a possibility of leakage when it was raining and consequently the shelves from my handmade bookcase got wet and ruined. I think the rented u-haul should be full of gas when rented and be returned full, rather than guessing how much gas you will use to leave the tank 3/8 full.

The back of the cargo van I rented was very clean. The van itself seemed like it needed its breaks worked on but otherwise ran smoothly and well for the job at hand.

The vehicles were pretty close together. An inexperienced driver might not realize the tail swing and scrape the other truck as they pull out. But space is always limited so I get it. Maybe just warn people for future rents. Other than that, I've used these guys a couple times. They've always been great.

Britney was awesome. First time u-hauler here. She explained everything before I left. Lady who checked me back in was awesome too. Didnt catch her name as I was in quite a hurry having commerciL waiting for me. Trailer was great for our head start with some gangly items. Definately saved us hours paying big $$ for movers. Check in was fast. Will use again for projects where i need a pickup box or bigger. Feel cost was reasonable. thank you, Greg Vincent, Kelowna

This was the best U-haul experience I have ever had. The Van was ready when I got there, the office is nice, receptionist was great and had me out the door with the van in less then 10 minutes.

We had a terrible experience with U-Haul. First of all we booked the truck weeks ago for pick up in Kelowna on September 30th. We get a phone call the day before that the truck needs to be picked up and returned to Kamloops which is over a 5 hour drive for a return trip. They finally found us a truck in Kelowna. We booked the truck for a 24 hour period, they gave us a truck for 6 hours and charged us the same rate for the 6 hours that we would have paid for the 24 hours that we originally wanted. We were told we would get $50 off the truck for the inconvenience and they charged us full price on our truck. It was an absolute nightmare of an experience.

The problem is that I my order confirmation was for a 5 x 8 trailer and when I showed up they only had a 4 x 8 trailer reserved for me. I took the 4x8 without realizing it was way to small for my needs. When I arrived at home, my dad (who was helping me move) said there was no way I would fit the furniture in that small trailer. I took the trailer back. I spent 3 hours between picking up the trailer and dropping it off. I never got to use it and I had to pay $26 for having it for more than 30 minutes. I would appreciate if you would honour you $50 guarantee and reimburse my the $26 expense as well. I have all receipts to prove. Thank you, Teresa teresasmed@outlook.com

We were promised two utility dollys. We booked them online and then confirmed by phone they would be available. TW0 dollys were CRUCIAL to this move. On moving day there was only ONE utility dolly and the staffer just shrugged and said "that's the way it goes sometimes." We were also told all other Kelowna locations were out of dollys. Consequently the move took considerably longer and we had to pay our movers more. N0T IMPRESSED WITH FALC0N SELF STORAGE IN KELOWNA and WILL NOT GO BACK.

This American truck has very noisy brakes, but ran well. We picked the vehicle up at 9:45 AM, June 27. I put 18.9 liters of gas in the truck, at a cost of C$20.51, and we were finished with the vehicle and had it in the compound at 4:55 PM on Monday, June 27. We had put 20.1 miles on it. I approached the office door at about 4:59, and the door was locked. I went to the side door and deposited the key in the appropriate slot. As I did so, I noticed someone on the inside - watching me. The next morning, at about 10:50 AM, my wife got a phone call, asking when we were returning the truck. She informed the caller that it had been parked in the compound the previous afternoon, and the key put in the key-return slot. At 11:37, we received the email statement, charging us for a 2 day rental. We expect to see this rectified immediately. P. Wardell

Ensure customers are satisfied and if complaints are expressed actually do something to improve or deal with situation. I do not mind paying full price for things that work however when your trip is terrible due to the trucks poor efficiency then compensation should have been offered.

When I arrived to pick up truck I was informed that it was stuck in ice but I was free to try and get it out myself. There were only two ladies working and I spent almost a full hour trying to get the truck unstuck to no evale. I asked to switch vehicles and was told I couldn't and I was ready to go somewhere else when they finally decided to give me a larger truck as I couldn't use the ordered one. Very unhappy with my experience!!

Staff was good, trailer was clean but one tire was no good which I didn't notice till we were all loaded up. The staff arranged for a tire replacement but miscommunicated with the tire man & when I got hold of him he was on his way to the U.S. The area rep(Chuck) arranged for Kal Tire to replace it but they had to okay it with the service manager who wasn't a available & didn't return their call. After wasting 2 1/2 hours I called Chuck back & he made things happen. Other than wasting 3 hours of travel time because the trailer wasn't inspected properly the rest of the rental was fine.

Truck was clean but overall getting pretty tired/aged/beat up and key areas like the rear cargo door didn't seem like they've seen much maintenance. Maybe we just had an old truck. I'd still rent from you guys, it wasn't a huge deal.

it's all good, nothing to do with this location, but just rentals in general, the final cost always seems surprisingly higher than anticipated... you start with a $29 quote, but by the time you finish a local in town move the final bill was over $100... i just always think the original quote should be closer to what the final bill would be.

Due to the fact that I was moving from Kelowna BC to Red Deer AB, the necessary winter tires should have be on the truck for safety's sake. I didn't learn that the truck wasn't properly prepared to be driven in the conditions I might face. Shame on Uhaul for cheaping out and not be safe!

The staff were excellent, however, the truck I had rented was full of condensation in the back of the vehicle, there was barely enough gas to make it to the closest gas station and the signal light was not working. Very disappointed with U-Haul, but the girl that was serving me at the time was excellent and very understanding. She should be highly commended.
