I needed a van to get my family and our gear back to New York after hitting a deer in Virginia and totaling my Van. The gentleman in this franchise was pleasant and nice. There was a van on the premises but he said that was for local runs only. When I got back to New York there was a van from Colorado in the parking lot. So much for local runs. There was also virtually no gas in the truck that I was given. He did note that on my receipt, thankfully, but I have rented vehicles before and received them with a full tank of gas and always returned them with a full tank of gas. I had to return this truck with more gas then I started with and they wanted to charge me when I returned it.

He said the U-Haul site was down and would send me my receipt via email. I still haven't got it. I plan to call back today and ask him to send it.

R T S.The truck I rented leaked! In the rain, water leaked from someplace in the driver's side wall, down the shoulder harness, all over my shirt. I looked on the outside and couldn't see the place where the water was coming from. It leaked mainly when the truck was moving, so the water was sliding over the cab roof into the leaking place, but I couldn't find where. Otherwise, it was a good truck.

This review is 100% UHaul corporate lack of value in customer experience or the lack of value of my time. Rating scale of 1-10 - I would give UHaul a 2.

Behind it, was a filthy mess of coffee stains! The Shop Office was a total mess. Did not want to touch anything. When I asked about a tune up he himmed and hawwed then said 'a couple of hundred bucks.' No prices posted. Yuk.
