I rented an auto carrier and was told that I could pick it up at the Far North Storage. When i wen to pick it up I was told that the trailer was not there and would be there in 3 hours. Prior to returning to the location, I received a call from Chris Collinwood, who works for U-Haul and he said that he would meet me at the U-Haul site and was going to check out the trailer. When I arrived, Chris was not there. I asked the staff about connecting the trailer to the 10-foot U-Haul truck I was driving. They told me that they don't do that. So, after backing the truck up to the trailer I connected the trailer to the truck. When I was checking the trailer out, I noticed that the tire on the driver side didn't have very much tread on it and when I mentioned to the person working the counter I was told that it should be fine. I loaded our car onto the auto transport we headed back to Fairbanks. The next morning, we left town driving towards North Dakota. We were about 10 miles north of Davidson, SK when the tire on the driver side of the trailer failed. We were stuck there for more than 4 hours waiting for someone to replace the tire. That put us more than 4 hours behind our schedule and we ended up having to find a hotel in a different town. Because of that we lost the money we spent on the hotel we had reserved in Minot ND. As we continued our drive the next day, we passed through Minot ND and were about 10 miles away when the tire on the passenger side of the trail failed. It took over 2 hours for U-Haul to get someone to our location and replace the tire. These failed tires put us so far behind in our trip. I just wish that someone would have listened to me back in Fairbanks and checked the tires on the Auto Transport.

Susan went above and beyond. Issues with my credit card, phone not connecting, and the UHaul website going down, she worked several angles to get me set up. Very resourceful and much appreciated

When we needed to make a change, the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful. They honored the discount we had been given since our initial web request wasn't available. Kind folks, knowledgeable of the area and great customer service... we highly recommend this Uhaul rental store for folks in the Fairbanks/North Pole area.

There was a hole in the. U-Haul and it rained, then I was charged an extra day . The phone number listed is wrong so I can’t call to tell them to reverse the extra day charge
