Just wanted to add that the on call customer service rep (Ashley) was excellent. Had trouble at first location and she was able to get me to another location and truck. She was able to correct the issue and get us on our way. Thank her for us.

SPENCER PEmployees were extremely nice & understood our frustration with UHaul's scheduling process. No fault of the Fenwick location but UHaul's scheduling needs major improvement. We reserved this weeks in advance to be picked up close to our location & the day before we get the call to having to pickup else where. This also happened for the reservation we had in June in Memphis, TN. UHaul, you have your guys pick the trailer up & have it ready at the location your customer reserved it at. Twice you have messed this up for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FENWICK if you rent from UHaul

Steven PThe employee was amazing. However, it was just her. We came to this location to do a load share ubox. The trailer was in fairly poor condition. It couldn't lock on the ball and throughout the drive, the safety screw kept unscrewing itself. Major hassle. Get some more employees!
Weston AThe person at the office that helped me was very knowledgeable and very polite. The only suggestion thar I have, right after I made the reservation (three or four weeks in advance) I received an email stating that someone was going to contact me that weekend to ask some questions. (i wanted to make sure my truck was rated correctly for the trailers etc.) After a few days I tried to contact the office and they told me that they normally called only 24 hours before the day of pick-up. So, the email should say that. Other than that, experience this time was great.

Victor MOur desired location was not available, causing us to drive further out of our way. We were charged an extra $20 for gas, despite meeting the same level we were given. The lock for the key was frozen, making it far too difficult to get the truck.

Larry SWhen I made the reservation I was not informed that the location was closed and I was going to need to get a code from uhaul to get the key, and trying to get the code was not easy I called 18004684285 the representative that answer seem annoyed to help me and I was told that they couldn't give me a code that I needed to call 8333990504 to get the code, after calling the second number they told me I had to do it online and that they also couldn't give me the code. Trying to load my drivers license online to get the code seemed impossible after half an hour it finally gave me a code. Very Disappointed.
Francisco RMy truck was extremely defective, they gave me a truck not maintained, multiple things were wrong with it and I broke down in the middle of the highway on a long one way trip. I had to wait HOURS. They also didn’t provide the equipment I paid for and I had to go to another location to pick it up. My entire trip was one inconvenience after the next I hope I’ll get fair consolidation back.
Rachel AWe were to pick up our truck at 9am at Bardstown Rd, when we arrived we were told there was no trucks available and was sent to East Broadway to get a truck. We arrived at E. Broadway and was told they had no trucks and that our reservation had been placed in limbo status and no longer assigned to a location. After making several calls to Uhaul and being transferred to 5 different service reps we were scheduled to pick up at the Fenwick location. Upon arriving at the Fenwick location we found it closed and unable to pick up the truck. It took another 45 mins of being transferred to multiple people and a uhaul rep had to dispatch someone to the uhaul center to make a special key to fit the truck that was parked at the Fenwick location. The Fenwick location was about 25 miles away from the home we were packing up and moving. We were given an additional 20 miles added to the mileage initially but it was still going to leave us with going over the mileage as a result of the long drive to Fenwick and back to the apartment. The final destination was Lexington, KY. I requested to get an additional 20 miles to cover the trip and the worker Helena refused to listen to the story. She told me that I need to be happy that I had only gone 25 miles to get the truck because others had to drive 45-50 miles to get their truck. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she disconnected the call. This experience was absolutely terrible. I am scheduled to rent a truck July 30th and I will probably cancel that reservation because of this experience. I had movers at the home at 9am waiting to load the items and we ended up not getting the truck until well after 12pm. I had to pay extra money for them having to wait. I have never experienced such unorganized business. If the request for trucks superceded the amount of trucks available then uhaul should not be taking reservations and payments.
Jesse DThe office had so much cigarette smoke inside that it triggered my asthma. Needed my inhaler. The inside cabin was the same way. Otherwise things were expected. Would put up signage a road entry to long driveway to business. Larger sign in window would help. This is one of several businesses in the same building. Otherwise the man was nice, pleasant, helpful, personable, and said he appreciated our business. Offered to help us arrange help if needed-how nice!
