Ensure the operator is knowledgeable about the equipment, has hitch adapters and that the trailer has power lead / adapter for customers. But the biggest thing you need to do is not change the pick up location to one which is a 2 hour drive from where it was due to be collected less than 24 hours before pick up.

Extremely slow. Took almost 30 minutes just to get the keys. Then they gave me the wrong type of dolly and didn’t have the correct one to give me, so that was useless. They also changed my reservation and would not put it back to the correct drop off date that my booking originally had. They made me call U-Haul to change it. So frustrating all around.
