DARLYN VCustomer service picking up the vehicle was great! Guy at the register had me in and out! Did everything professionally efficiently and everything was great BUT returning the vehicle the old guy was very strange and rude didn’t even no sense of customer service it seems like worst experience I’ve had returning a rental equipment that would be the only reason why I wouldn’t refer a friend to this location!
Clivens LLocation was hard to spot when driving by. No significant UHaul signage the way there is at other locations. I drove past it and turned around 0- assuming the storage facility signage also meant it was the UHaul location. And, it was. The fellow on duty who checked me in was extremely helpful.

Peter BWhen we arrived the person in charged of receiving the trailer was very rude and started to yell at my sister. At that moment I approached him and told him to calm down, that we were here to drop off a trailer. He unhooked the trailer push it out of the way into a trailer parking spot but let it drop on to the ground as if he didn’t care for the equipment. I then said to him be careful because there was no damage and his carelessness can cause damage. I was not going to pay for damages I didn’t cause. He then walk away without saying a word.

They are the best office compare to the other place I went at Long Island Avenue. Generally they are 100% on point with their customers because I observe them. They are really good people who care so much for their customers, I went there twice . I will definitely recommend my friends and family.
azogini aNo person at location at 9:00, phone number on door was not working, told to go to second location ( address was a residential house) lost 1 hour of time ( cost $50 for two workers) being paid . Was told my credit card didn’t have to be with driver on arrival. Driver had to then supply his credit card. I called the main number to discuss all this with management, was told someone would call me( nobody ever did). Please call 516 503 9010 Howard

SOFIA MUpon driving to drop off my rental truck to the drop off location I saw the gate closing. I stopped in front of the gate and waited, then the gate opened again. I then proceeded to enter and tried to park the truck where the rest of the other uhaul trucks were parked, when suddenly an old men started screaming at me "yo! What do you think you are doing!?". Then he approached the passenger door and attempted to open it; it was locked. I unlocked the door and he proceeded to repeat the same question in a very nasty, umpolite, impertinent, and aggressive manner. I answered him, I'm returning my truck. With the same attitude he said "you are not supposed to en enter just because the gate is open", to which I replied, if the gate closed in front of me, and then it openes, providing there are no signs to park the trucks outside, the only logical thing to do is to go ahead and drive pass the gate in the direction where the rest of the uhaul trucks are parked. He then repeated the same question to which I proceeded to ignore realizing there was no point in arguing. I walked to the office. When I was about to enter I heard "Hey what did you do to this truck?!?! the bumper is busted " (same nasty attitude). I answered, the bumper was busted when I rented it (I had proof of that). I went inside the office, the gentleman behind the counter asked me what do I need. I told him I'm dropping off a truck and I also commented that the guy he has working outside has an attitude. He seemed to be annoyed by my comment and ignored it. I will NOT recommend this place to any one. Poor customer service. The type that makes you not want to work with uhaul anymore.
JORGE LGreat service and tips particularly in staying off parkways in the van to avoid getting a ticket. I recommend this location.

SOFIA MThe person at the counter was very nice and helpful. The issue was when I got to my house and opened the back of the truck it smelled so bad I had to wear a mask when working back there. Smelled like cat throw up and piss. It also travelled onto my stuff the smell and made the overall experience terrible. Also I had flush a roach down my toilet as he was in the truck and he hopped onto one of my dressers.

CIRO Sthese people came and towed the trailer away from my building saying that it was abandoned and it wasn’t and no phone call had me panicked thinking someone stole it!!! horrible service! I will never rent again from this place!!!!!! and the nerve to charge me $32 for a tow fee

henry FCommunicate better that the truck that's was supposed to be rented is not available and a larger one is being substituted along with the change in cost. The truck itself was also not a good driving experience. Suspension need work, the steering wheel would shake love every bump, manual roll down windows, no ability to plug in charge cord for cell phone. Also that you cannot rent the truck for 24 hours and have to take it for 48. The web site does not display that info when looking at renting doubling the cost of what you expect to pay. Very disappointed for the expensive cost for the rental. I will not be using your company again after this experience.
Eric Ithe uhaul leaked rain all in the front seat, we had to tape up the leaks to avoid getting soaked.
