The vehicle to be used was not returned in time so I had to improvise with a trailer in bad weather. I ended up having to rent another Uhaul later in the week due to this failure. Very disappointed in the experience this time.

EDEL RI didn't get my 12 pads or an appliance dolly for moving. I was told Uhaul doesn't provide them with the equipment needed. This put me behind on schedule....I picked up at 9am and had movers there at 9:15...but because of lack of blankets and no appliance dolly I wasn't able to load a lot of stuff with the help, they had to come back the next morning early.. This was not a great experience.

AMON DThe $29.99 day charge is a scam. There was a $59.99 "rental charge". . Also over charged for insurance- Will not use uhaul again, no way. Will not recommend, but warn others of false advertising & charges.

Cynthia is very good at explaining the rental process, what to expect from U-Haul, the billing process and what was expected of me as a customer. the 15' truck I rented needs a lot of work. The front end is very loose, making steering difficult. The shocks (front and rear) are totally worn out. I definitely did not have a smooth ride. I was afraid the family heirloom I was transporting would not survive the journey to my home. Other than these issues, everything else was fine.

James WThe unit was dirty and had old socks in the back, not swept and spilled soda in the cabin. Drove like it had been wrecked, all over the road. Insurance wasn't requested but rather required and called a safety package. Worst experience with uhaul to date. Filling BBB complaint

ERIC WU-haul representative was very friendly, courteous and efficient. She knew what she was doing, we only had a 5 minute wait to turn in keys. She inspected the truck, asked a few questions and we were out the door in 10 minutes. Excellent customer service and they had air conditioning in the hot Texas heat!!! We were very satisfied with the service at drop off!!

David DThe truck, needs maintenance that we had , (1) it leaks water from the windshield into the truck. (2) the U joints are fixing to go out. ( drive shaft) . The weather strip is hanging down on the driver side. 3) it needs an alignment it pulls to the right. 4) And the windshield wiper blade on the driver side pop off during the rain while I was driving. And the gas gauge was not right what the lady said. And finally there was pieces of wood in the back of the truck

juan rThe problem I had was trying to use the app. It was not working properly and the employee at the location had to help check out the vehicle. When we returned the truck it was after hours and the app was not working properly so I could return the vehicle. The employee was still in the office and helped me return the vehicle. Kudos to the employee. UHAUL needs to work on their app.

Jennifer SIf you’re renting a truck be sure to take photos of your mileage before and after your use. Upon returning the truck they tried to charge me for 108 additional miles. Had to get someone from corporate on the phone before they would accept the correction.
Daniel WThe transmission on the truck I used had issues shifting into reverse...the shift lever would slip over reverse and jump straight into park. It took 4-5 times of ever-so-gently manipulating the lever to get it into reverse.
MARK HI had no problem with Five Star, BUT Devon storage was scheduled to have a truck reserved for us. However, they DID NOT LEAVE A KEY AVAILABLE. Therefore, we had to be transferred by UHaul support to Five Star and lost two hours of time.

Promise nNo spaces left to park. Had to park behind another UHaul. Was concerned someone else might be picking up and wouldn’t be able to get their truck because of this one parked behind it. 😞
Jaycie CI was forced to check out with a ph. app. that wasn't user friendly and unable to complete. Finally, the lady at Five Star Storage called U-Haul direct to get me checked out 45 minutes later. I will never go through that again, I'll spend the extra money and go to Penske Truck Rental, they are fast, efficient and knowledgeable.

Bryan GIf a customer reserves a piece of equipment- ensure that piece of equipment is ready when the customer arrives. - I reserved an Appliance Dolly and all I got was…”sorry, we don’t have one.” I spent almost 2 hours looking for an Appliance Dolly to rent. My truck rental was 8 hours. Due to the time I spent looking for the Dolly - down to 6 hours. To add insult to injury the girl at the desk charged me $60,00 for being 15 min late returning the truck! I had to call UHAUL Customer Service to get everything rectified.
KELLY WKristin was a life savior. When we arrived at the Morton St. location in Denison and found a note saying they would not open till 10:30 and they would not answer the phone we were left in a panic because we had a big job which required a 26' truck for the week. Fortunately Kristin answered our plea for help with professionalism and compassion. She was kind, efficient and seemed she cared for our situation, We will utilize this dealer every month this contract continues because of Kristin.
