I rented a tow dolly yesterday (7/2/22) from Fix & Feed Sulphur Springs Hardware at 5:50pm. I drove the tow dolly 70 miles to Princeton tx to pickup a Mazda3 and tow it back to Sulphur Springs. Upon getting the Mazda onto the dolly, I discovered one of the tire straps used to secure the towed vehicle to the dolly had been cut short preventing me from properly securing the vehicle to the dolly. Also with the car loaded on the dolly, the driver side dolly tire was extremely low. 7:34pm (7/2) I placed a call to U-Haul roadside assistance and requested a call back with a estimated wait time of 17+ minutes. 7:58 (7/2) I received my call back from U-Haul; I explained my situation and was told to expect a call back in 30 min with a ETA of roadside service 8:32pm(7/2) I received a text message from U-Haul with a ETA of 120 minutes for roadside service 9:53pm(7/2) roadside service arrives to replace cut strap and replace driver side dolly tire 11:32pm(7/2) I stop at Walmart in Sulphur Springs to get gas and discover that the driver side brake light on the tow dolly has a intermittent short. 12:15(7/3) I arrive at my destination in Winnsboro. Other than the 3 hours of my time wasted on the side of the road, the level of complete incompetence displayed by Fix & Feed's lack of inspection upon the dollys return by the last customer is beyond ridiculous. If I would have returned the dolly in this condition I would have been HELD RESPONSIBLE for the damage.Miles W.

That vehicle was not safe to drive break was so bad that you can have accidents everytime, wipers are bad too, Overall wanting my money back half of the money because from now on I won't use uhaul i ll look for something different.Gaurav P.

I asked questions about the insurance offered to customers. The person waiting on me had no knowledge of the insurance contract. I was told that my personal insurance company will cover any damages. I spoke with my insurance agent about coverage while driving a UHaul. The answer, NO. That's considered a commercial vehicle, you will NOT be covered. I went back to Fix and Feed and asked the UHaul representative what exactly does your insurance cover. Response, I don't know sir. I need to call my district office. If I had taken the word of this UHaul representative that I will be covered by my personal auto insurance , I would have been driving without insurance. After having rented the vehicle, there was no UHaul representative on hand to explain and and actually show me where the controls are and what each one does. As far as the cleanliness of the equipment is concerned, I cleaned the interior with disinfectant because it was coated with sticky substance. No problems with the operation of the vehicle.Bryan M.

I have had several issues on different occasions with this uhaul facility. Go to pick up truck and they have no keys for it on one occasion. Another occasion I payed at the place I rented it and then was recharged upon returning trailer.Linda B.

Very nice and helpful staff. Easy drop off No signs in front though to indicate it was a Uhaul place. Should park a truck in the front of the parking lot or put sign up. All the uhaul vehicles were parked behind building in back and did not see from streetBRIAN S.

Nothing the (kids) had to be in their teens that escorted us out, hooked up the hitch, then hooked up the pull behind, were very friendly and most helpful. Very polite and respectful. Made sure we understood the hook up process and explained it well. Inside paperwork was longer than the kids hooking us up and sending us on our way.LORI K.

Both the pick up and drop off location had great people and a great process. However, the uhaul scheduling process was not a good expand because of that my rental cost me an extra 1200.00.Rebecca Y.

It was a struggle dealing with the employees at the pickup location due to the fact that they had nothing ready even though I made a reservation days prior. I also received my truck and it was filthy inside the cab and inside the truck. The lady employee said she was going to make a note of it so we wouldn't get charged for it.
