Friendly staff. The vehicle was clean but the smell of Marijuana stayed in the vehicle for the whole trip. We did get lysol spray from the company before leaving but the smell lingered.

Make it make sense and don’t steal from the community, horrible business practice. Answer the phone, change the voicemail greeting to a professional greeting not “hey I didn’t answer” insane
ERIK FDidn't explain the contract very well at all. Had ghetto music blaring the whole time. Didn't have change for the cash I had. Didn't tell me they wouldn't be there the next day. Caused stress from being unprofessional.
JOSHUA TWell it wasn’t your fault but the website crashed. What was your fault was that this location decided to not have an employee in store to help me and I had to coordinate with a customer service rep.
Nicholas YI filled $68 gas when I drive my truck and I return them I have recorded all transactions and took truck gas meter reading pictures in my record. Please check and return my extra gas money credit.

Latanya BI’ll like to put 0 ⭐️ I rented a truck originally from 3015 Plaza Cir Port Arthur Tx I was supposed to get a code so I can pick up the key but the app or the website never worked. I spent almost an hour with a UHAUL Representative over the phone and she couldn’t get no code at all. So she said my only option at that point is to rent a truck at this location 👇🏼 8161 Eastex Frwy Beaumont, TX (30 mins away) I agreed because I had 4 guys waiting for me to start the moving process. When they start my reservation at the new location I requested to return the truck at my local UHAUL store, they said Yes but the price will increase. Originally I supposed to pay less then $75 for 1 day rental, insurance and 60 miles. Well, they ended up charging 154.28 for returning to the local UHAUL. The employee mentioned I’ll be getting a refund if I return the truck earlier and if I use less then the 60 miles I paid for. I wasn’t happy at all but at that point 3 hrs had passed by, so I said OK 😒😒😒 The contract had marked the gas level at more than half a tank when it was exactly at 1/2 tank, I took a pic and showed it to the employee and she marked the contract as 1/2 tank and said don’t worry about it. I supposed to return the truck today 02/10/25 at 1:00 pm but I returned it las night at 7:00 (18 hrs before) I also use 18 miles less then the 60 miles I paid for and returned it with 1/2 tank. What a surprise today at 1:00 pm I got an email closing my contract and details of my receipt and they ended up charging me a total of $245.13 They charge an extra 90+ for dropping off at a different location when they’ve already charged double of the regular price for that same reason. I spoke to a supervisor over the phone at the local UHAUL office and she did absolutely nothing but said that they MIGHT be able to refund me for the extra miles and gas they charged me since I told her a have pics to prove them wrong, but they would not refund anything for the TRIPLE CHARGES they ended up charging of a regular rental for one day (6 hrs to be exact) 😡😡😡😡

Jacques NAll went smoothly at pick up but I would have someone go out with customer and check out the vehicle or make sure before they left that they had done the online check over. I was unclear as to the necessity of the online check over and it timed out. I called and the young man resent it to me but the online system kept trying to send until it too timed out. We had no problems with the vehicle and it got good gas mileage. So glad we got the 15 foot truck. I would recommend checking out your drop off site, ours closed at noon Saturday. Still no problems I’m just a nervous Nelly and like to talk to a representative. Thanks again uHaul for making this move so smooth!

dee jIt seems bad business practice to inform and charge customer that the truck was dropped off at wrong location over a month after being rented. We should have been informed this was not a proper location at the time of drop off, or some time shortly after, not over a month later! This is not the first time using U-Haul and having surprise charges afterwords. This will more than likely be our last time using U-Haul.

Chris CThere was no signage for the drop off. Not even a uhaul sign. I only found it because there were other trailers and trucks. The lot was not lit. This location should not offer 24 hr returns unless they add lighting to the lot.
