I had my self pick up set up and it required me to get my key inside, I had to wait over an hour to get my key, then the employee tried to charge me again. I had to call U-Haul and have the representative speak to the employees to get my key released. A waste of my time.

I requested a dolly utility and they did not have it. They advised I would get a $27.50 fuel credit and upon check out the credit was $22.00. The individual did not want to conduct a walk through when I picked up the vehicle. I had to insist and noticed the vehicle fuel was incorrect ( not what was stated on the documents), and the utility dolly was not included. They are very unprofessional and I would never rent from this location again.

This was the 3rd location I had to go to, to try and get the truck I reserved. The entire Uhaul experience was horrible. Incompetence at every level.

The guys working was very unprofessional it only had one person working there when i got there so he handed me the keys and told me go head because he has other customers and he is working by himself he assured me the truck was in good condition and the gas was fine so just bring it back at the point it was at which was just past the half point , when i got back it had 2 more guys working there and a different one came out to look at the truck and wanted to argue that i didn’t put gas cause the tank wasn’t filled up which it never was i told him get the guy that was there this morning he refused luckily i took pics with my phone before i left with it

I was provided a truck with no horn which is a life threatening manner and I informed both road side assistance and rental location I was still charged and not provided no compensation for this misshapen

This was a cell phone business location and barely found the location because there was no Uhaul signs any where. Additionally I had ask for a truck next to the site I was loading material to take back to Tampa. A truck should have been available but I was told to go there. Just not right.

I was scheduled to pick up the uhaul truck at the above location at 10am. I arrived at 9:50am. In was told that he couldn't find a key to the truck. He then said that my reservation was given to a man the previous day. When speaking to customer service, nothing was done to help me. They couldn't find a truck within my area. This was the first and last time that I deal with Uhaul.

They were unable to take the time to explain the contract and how the system derived the mileage which was incorrect. The system calculated a 264 mileage from my rental location to the drop-off location in Orlando. I am partial to recommending this location to a friend yet, the location needs to become more customer friendly. They were too busy selling cell phones and other electronic gadgets the trying to meet my needs of the U-Haul Rental. To a certain extent they were rude!!!

Upon refueling to return cargo van fuel stuck at 3/4 tank resulting in over fueling vehicle. Ridiculous, and I was very upset at the fact I was being ignored by the owner and all 3 employees in the store. I wound up paying $27 @ $3.49 per gal. to drive 41 miles. The clerk absolutely showed no empathy at all and ignored my complaint. I have rented several vehicles in the past few months and never had a bad experience. This location was a little sub-par for Uhaul standards, clean but lack of customer service is an understatement.

horrible location, no signage indicating it is even a U-Haul location, no other equipment on site. This was the location you sent me to for drop off. Later I found a much larger and nicer facility closer to my address!

My pickup location was changed and I had to drive further than I had anticipated, NO ONE CALLED to tell me it had changed! Icalled the new location to ensure it was there and was told it was not! I turned around and went back to the original lrental location THEY TOLD ME HE HAD IT, I was then called by the rerouted rental agency that they did in fact have it so I turned back around. When I did get the truck it was filthy dirty it had been used by some contractor for painting & stucco work there was paint and stucco remnats all over the inside of the trailer... (I didn't find it until I got home to load) I had to sweep it out and hose off the floor before I loaded my furniture. I WOULD NOT EVER USE THIS Service again!!! You guys need to get your act together with the subcontractors!!!

The owner of this establishment lied about the amount of gas in the truck. He mark the paper before he looked at the gas needle and we showed him what he mark and what the dial had was very different. He said don't worry about that. When we got back he did not want to give us our change and we had to call the police. He is a very dishonest man and should not be renting your trucks with your logo.

While the equipment was maintained in acceptable condition, the customer service aspect SUCKED. I really ask that uhaul as a company reevaluate their association with this business as one of their agents. The man there tried to issue me the van without a contract, impliciately saying that the vehicle condition slip would suffice as a contract in the event I get pulled over. The demeanor of all employees there are not positive ones as it always seems like you're bothering them. I needed to extend my rental period from 3 days to 12 days because of problems with my new apartment and subsequently the person there charged me upfront $400 to make sure my credit card was good. I found this horribly insulting. Not so much the notion of the idea, but rather the way he presented the need for it. Please call me if you'd like to hear more. -Lyn (305)638-4271

First of all the company's operating hours online at Uhaul.com said 11:30 am. I got to the location at 11:15 am. The operating hours on the business' door said 12:00 pm. By 12:05pm I got frustrated and called Uhaul customer service. I spoke with a lady. She contacted the store's office. The person she spoke with said that the business would be closed for the day and that the truck I had rented was not even there. I told the customer service agent that the person she is speaking to is lieing because the truck was parked right next to my car. During the conversation, an employee of the store showed up and opened the store. The person opening the store showed up at 12:30 pm. I ordered the truck online at Uhaul.com from 12:00 pm-8:00 pm. I was expecting to have the truck for 8 hrs. Unfortunately the store closes at 6:00 pm. I was unaware that the store closed at 6:00 pm because online it did not state that. I was informed by the employee. I only had the truck from 12:45 pm-6:00 pm. I lost 45 minutes because the employee was late and I lost 2 more hours because the store hours and appointment times on Uhaul.com were incorrect. This experience was a nightmare! I ended up having to return to my apartment for three consecutive days after renting the truck to pack the rest of my things. I even did not have time to go to my sister's house and pick up a new mattress that she was donating to me which was part of my itinerary. If I could get my money back somehow for all of this inconvenience, I would deeply appreciate it. I am 7 months pregnant and this experience was very stressful and unnecessary. What you can do to improve is have the correct operating hours listed. Another suggestion is for a consumer not to have the option to choose times to rent the truck when the store is closed. Basically it would be best to update all of your store's information online because I really got screwed over.

I can't believe that this site is affiliated with U-haul, as it is extremely unprofessional. The truck that I rented had a smashed passenger window when I picked it up. Additionally, when I returned the truck after refilling it with gas to the 3/4 level (where it had been when rented to me), they insisted that the gas was short of the 3/4 line, and that I would be charged $30 if I didn't fill it up a but more. They made me return to the gas station to add ONE GALLON, bringing it to over the 3/4 line. One gallon -- I kid you not. Finally, they tried to charge me additional money for use of a hand-truck that was included with the truck. One employee said $12, but another employee said $19. I refused to pay any extra money since I hadn't asked for a hand-truck, and was never informed of the charge in advance. The employees were rude and un-helpful, telling me over and over that it was U-haul, and not them, that were charging me. Additionally, they spoke to each other in a foreign language about me and my account while in my presence. Rude and incredibly unprofessional. I will never use this location again, and will avoid U-haul in general in the future. I have never had problems like this when I rented from Budget or other companies. Shame on them.
