When I got to the location the truck was there but the key was not in the lockbox. When I called UHaul the 2nd person I spoke to (unk female) questioned if I had received the lock box code as I had told her and the she got rude tone and spoke to me unprofessionally and then put me on hold without telling me- luckily the merchant arrived and went inside the store to get me my key. Not happy with whomever I spoke to on the phone ( I waited over 5 mins and she never returned)-Carlo C.
Where do I begin. Could not pick up van when requested because it wasn't ready. It was still dirty. Then you charged me for two days when I only had it for hours. Then it was a struggle to understand why you charged me so much and it took a while to finally get an approval to get a refund. When talking to your staff two ladies were very nice but one lady hung up on me which wasn't very professional. I will think long and hard before using your service again.Tammy M.

The location was very messy. It took longer to get service and the vehicle was missing Air in one of the tires. However, if you bring the car with less gas than what they gave you they do charge you more.LEIF C.

I waited over 20 minutes for the document verification on the mobile check in and wasn't approved until I finally messaged customer support. Overall it took half an hour to check in, which means I lost half an hour of my rental time. Then when I checked the truck, the dolly I rented was not in it so I had to go back to the location to ask in person for the dolly. They told me they only had one utility dolly which they had rented out for the day. Why was I able to reserve a dolly on the website if there wasn't one available? They tried to give me a miniature dolly instead, before I told them that wouldn't work and they ended up giving me an appliance dolly for the same price. Overall poor check in experience and bad organization and customer service. Will not rent from this location again.Sydney W.

The 0wner was ruled as well as his staff (female or wife.) The Van was dirty, the warning light would come on , indicating to change oil soon. The air condition didn't work, I had to change Vans. I switch to a truck and there was a issue with the transmission, and another light was displayed 'Tow U haul'. The store was not a good place to rent U-Haul, and I will never use them EVER. And I didn't like the was they presented the invoice. I felt over charged.MONA T.

NEVER RENT FROM FOOD WORLD! I had made an online appointment at least a week in advance, for pickup at 10:00 a.m. The owners never arrived until 10:20 a.m. and made us re-register before giving us the keys. The worst part was shards of broken glass throughout the back, so it was obvious that they failed to clean the truck out prior to renting. I ended up cutting my hand on a piece of the broken glass, requiring first aid. The glass also became imbedded in the bottom of some of the packing boxes. Purely negligent behavior on the part of this renter. I don't expect you to respond to this post but I am hoping that you "fire" this renting center. Thank you.Michael M.

This was a disaster. It took over 2 hours to get the key from the lockbox. First of all I booked this truck at another location and then it got changed to mobile pickup at another location. The owners of the small ma and pa grocery where the truck was parked showed up very late. There were over 12 people waiting for uhaul trucks in the cold wet rain on Saturday of Memorial day weekend. Many peoples plans for moving including ours were messed up! Then when we dropped off the truck uhaul wants all kinds of pics. This system is a disaster! Please make uhaul great again. ..we will never do this again:(Christopher H.

Site is smelly. Could not find anyone for a while. Had to stand there waiting. I rented and the vehicle had barely enough gas to take me five miles. I animist ran out of gas. I brought back the vehicle and they charged me for gas even though it was brought back at the exact same level at which I received it. The vehicle was messy and not clean both I. The front and back. It could not start when is was returning the van had to wait to have my husband come and jump start the truck h. Stewing is so loose and able to steer straight. This is an horrible site and need to be removed from uhaul services. When I got there there was another customer returning and complained about the same gas being low. The truck that I rented was absolutely disgusting. Stickiness everywhere and it looked like someone had sneezed on the front of the drivers side area. Lotion was on the floor along with other trash as well. In an era of covid, this is unacceptable.George K.

The service was great at this location. She did not have the pads or the utility dolly so I went to the Gaithersburg store and got pads. I returned them to this location but the checkin person did not close the equipment contract. I went back the next morning after double checking with Gaithersburg and she said the contract was now closed. It would be helpful to provide a receipt. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with this store. Its the U-HAUL moving help contractor that was HORRIBLE. I will never use that part of the service again.LISA P.
