Jay GEntire process using my phone for check in went very smooth and trouble free, as it was an after hours weekend rental. The site manager (Tim) was kind enough & gave me his cell # in case of trouble. It came in handy when I had a bit of trouble getting the lock off the truck. We will definitely use this site's services again in the future if needed!

However, I was disappointed with the corporate staff who called to inform that the return was late. She was not understanding and didn't even try to listen to my point of view. Danny HYOU CAN CHARGE WHAT YOU QUOTE, AND NOT MORE. I WAS CHARGED $1.29 PER MILE AND WAS QUOTED .69 PER MILE, AND I WAS QUOTED $10 FOR SAFE MOVE AND WAS CHARGED $14.. I THINK IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT I WAS CHARGED A FEE PER MILE AND ALSO HAD TO PUT GAS INTO THE TRUCK. A TOTAL RIP OFF.

Vincent OStaff that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. They kept me informed and returned calls promptly. I'd say well above average. Truck was in good shape, however there was a significant problem...the left front tire was nearly flat. Since this was an "online" pickup before site hours there was no one to talk to and no way to get it corrected. I called to see if this had been noticed and, apparently, this site does not verify truck maintenance or, in this case, safety. I had to drive to another location where they took care of the tire for me. That means I had to drive about 30 miles on a front tire that had just under 40lbs of pressure in it versus the 110lbs required. That's not just low. That's flat.

Jim aMy authorization for online check-in was not completed by U-Haul prior to my arriving. I had to call a representative to finalize my ability to start the check-in.
Keller LI had poor cell reception where I picked up the truck. The app doesn’t work without a good connection. I was not informed that I would have to provide additional contacts, a passport or lease agreement ahead of pickup. Then they call your additional contacts to authorize your pickup. If you haven’t informed people ahead of time of the call and have them answer, uhaul won’t give you authorization. Before getting authorization, I had to wait 8 mins to be connected with an agent, then over all the authorization process alone took 20 mins. The rest of the pickup was pretty easy if you follow the steps. With my experience and poor cell reception in the area, the mobile pickup process took almost an hour.

Brett HThis is a mini storage facility that offers U-Haul rentals as a side business. I dropped my trailer off after regular business hours and there was no location marked to indicate where to park it. That would be a nice improvement.
Thomas VMobile pickup was difficult because I usually don't allow websites to have access to my location data on my phone. I was not allowed to proceed until I figured out how to change that setting on my phone which took a while. I would prefer the option to choose from a map view which location I am at.

Jason DThe truck was clean but smelled of cigarette smoke. Drive 3 hours in the rain with the windows up. My son had a hard time breathing after a while and we both got really bad headaches. The online reservation and online pick up was very smooth and easy to use.
Jay JLet them be able to drop off the trailer at a different location I asked if I could leave it in Pine City and they told me know it would cost me way too much to do that and that was me calling the U-Haul number very disappointing I had to drive back down to Forest Lake to bring it back

Tom DWe went to a total of 3 different. Location due to the first two places forgetting to leave the keys in the lock box. We drove further and further out. It was ridiculous and so frustrating. I was late to my pick up appointment for my sofa. I spent more gas traveling to the next two cities to finally get a uhaul. Each time we got moved the truck go bigger and bigger which we didn’t need. We wasted a total of 2 hours plus on this and all we are getting. Back is a $50 refund . Not happy about our experience at all.
hoo yMy reservation was completely cancelled less than 24 hours before my pick up. I had to repeatedly ask for other options before I was offered a truck, not even the right size, over twenty miles away. I was promised not to have to pay for gas, I was charged for it afterward. Horrible experience, would not recommend. Very unhappy.
