I returned the vehicle with half a tank of gas (as it was when I checked it out), and they tried to charge me $15 for additional fuel until I pointed out that it was exactly where it was when I originally picked the truck up. Not sure if this is the normal policy of this location, but I felt like I was being taken advantage of.KEEGAN J.

It was not pointed out to me that this location is not a 24 hour drop site I was called rudely the next morning demanding access to the truck which I conveniently locked the key inside the door of the truck as there was no dropbox or anywhere to see that this was not in fact a 24 hour drop site. The customer service representative over the phone his name was Nathan and he hung up on me that is unacceptable in my opinion. I will not be back to this location for any U-Haul or storage services in the future.BRIAN W.

I ordered and was not given a dolly with this truck. i was charged for the dolly and when asked for a refund no one seemed to know how. I started with the local person and was given the area manager name. He told me it was done but it hasnt been . How hard could this really be? We are talking a refund of only 7 dollars!TERRI K.

We were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect . We are very appreciative and grateful to these wonder uhaul employees. We thank them so so much. My fiancÃ©e and I met online anD we were tired of paying for motels and missing each other during the week so we needed to move in together . We had no furniture ( our furniture is in probate ) and had to get free furniture from all different places like Beaverton ,Oregon city , Washington etc. We couldn't have done all that without the people at uhaul . There was problems renting. We reserved a 15 foot when we got there they had a 10 ft for us. She said the system showed it as a 15 ft. Then said it was a 15 ft ??? I told her but it says $19.95 on the side and I'm being charged $29.95. She said our truck was a 15 with a ramp. But when we got the keys and went to check it out, there was no ramp. Opening the back door it says 10 ft. We went back inside to tell them. Another employee came out and said His coworker gave us wrong to keys/wrong truck. I'm sorry, but I think the employee should know if it's a 10 or 15 ftâ€¦ or at least go with us to parking lot .KHANH CONG T.
This was a great location, close to the airport for easy pickup! The employees were helpfulâ€¦my only complaint with the truck I received is the cab had a very strong cigarette odorâ€¦I had to buy a car scent in order to stand riding in the cab. My big complaint is with the Reservation # I calledâ€¦as It was not explained to me at time of reserving the truck that if I came to the location instead of reserving on line, I would be charged extra fees such as tax nor dis they explain the â€œ24/7â€ online application process!! For a 1st time customer U can imagine my disappoint when I traveled across the US just to find out there were extra fees if u go directly to the counter of the location to pick up the truck instead of filling out an application on line??Phyllis J.
The quality, cleanliness, and upkeep of the uhaul vehicle I rented was poor. It was dirty on the inside and outside. The outside being so dirty made it hard to spot out damages. The inside was dirty covered in dry dirt. Hair, thorns, and dust filled the inside. Damage to the rear bumper flapping around was a concern. When returning it I mentioned to the male working the unsatisfactory and how filthy it is and that I received it that way, when wiping the areas of immediate use it's just showed even more how dirty it was, the worker said â€œ oh if this is filthy to you sorry for that but this is standard hereâ€. I was blown away with his attitude and how he continued to talk away while I tried to communicate with him. I've rented many times from uhaul and I will never return to this location and will be sure to tell folks that I normally recommend uhaul to, to at least never use this location.KIMBERLY B.

Your app is terrible! I will never use it again. I wasted half an hour trying to check out, and 20 minutes trying to return the truck I rented because it made me take pictures of the license I had already uploaded to my account, would not accept any of the crystal clear pictures of the license or the odometer/gas guage that I took with one of the best Android camera phones on the planet, and kicked me out of the check out process when I objected to your photos of the truck I was renting because it didn't show recent damage. And, again, I was not allowed to upload my own photos. Far from being more convenient or faster, the U-haul app is a frustrating, glitchy, time-wasting impediment to renting from U-haul. Both during check out and returning, I eventually resorted to going to the desk and they were able to finish things off in just a couple of minutes. And lest you think I was doing something wrong, the person behind the desk came out to the truck during the return process, and she could not get my flagship phone to successfully upload a picture or complete the process, either. The fan in the truck not working. It only blows the windshield. I reserved a dolly for appliance online. However, when I checked in , they told me they did not have any. Why wouldn't they call me ahead of the check-in time to let me know?. They told me there was no drop off after hours and if the truck got broken in.... it would be my responsibility. As soon as I drove off the lot, I received a message from uhaul saying I could drop off the truck after hours..... so confusingHOANG VU T.

I was never charged although I gave my credit card information, but months later warned in voicemail that if I did not pay, it would be sent to collections. I was unaware I was never charged, and when attempting to return the call and after leaving multiple voicemails, my calls were never returned. When contacting U-Haul directly, they were unable to help me complete the payment because Fort Knox froze it somehow. I was Given another contact to call to complete the payment. His voicemail was full. When he finally returned my call, he was unable to help with the situation then, but told me he would call the next day. He did not. He texted to ask when would be a good time to try again to discuss and complete the transaction. I gave my availability but never was contacted again. This is ridiculous. It should not be this difficult to complete a U-Haul transaction.Molly M.

While the van I rented was not cleaned prior to my picking up, and the odometer reading on my contract was inaccurate, the staff at this location went above and beyond to make sure that I was fully satisfied with the experience, and made everything correct. Don't allow the website to offer 24/7 pickup if that's not available, also link all branches together so that if a customer needs to extend their reservation they can, and the next customers reservation is altered instead of current customer having to return unit before they have finished in one way or anothrrPrecious V.

I had very bad experience for first time since I used this services, the people at this place are not professional and vey rude. This place workers are making bad influence for good service of uhaul company. I wouldn't recommend to people to go this place it's the worst experience and very mine. They should probably take down the information that customers receive about a Secure Dropbox being located on the building, when there actually isn't one. So, you won't have the option to make a drop off after their limited hours of operation. Also, they treat you horribly if you can't arrange your schedule to meet their needs and will threaten to charge you for more money if you don't fully cooperate. As someone who used to work for U-Haul, you guys constantly disappoint me with your lack of decent customer service.Courtney S.
This was by far the WORST rental experience I have had. U-haul changed my pickup location and didn't bother to tell me. Once I got to the new location, they had also changed my drop off location to some random place in Happy Valley (I moved to Bend), and then CHARGED me to change it back to my original drop off location. It took over an hour to pick up the truck. Girl behind the counter was clueless. Once they pulled the truck up, they then had to clean out the blankets from the last customer and find the dollies I had rented. Didn't they know I was coming? This couldn't have been done in advance? Will not be using or recommending U-haul anytime soon.Kimberly M.

Get the hours right on the app. Don't have different costs because of taxes if you use the app or just check in at the dealership. One price for all customers. I shouldn't have to play games to get the best price. This facility is getting less and less customer friendly. New management is less friendly and less helpful than old management was.Richard R.

I'm attempting to reach corporate about my issues, will not comment in full. I will say Whitney was awesome but the male I spoke with by phone was not. The return process has a fatal flaw, though, AT THIS LOCATION. I strongly recommend against renting here if you must return after hours. Extremely disappointed with the service at the Fort Knox location. Truck I reserved 28 foot was not available and was told it would be another hour. The truck was dirty had Styrofoam pieces all in the back and there was all kinds of equipment still left in the back. The employees don't do walk arounds during check out or check in. They charge you for had even though you put gas in the truck and the manager is rude and hangs up on customers faces when confronted about it. She's probably the one stifling the gas.EDWINA B.
I was told the truck had less than 1/4 tank and that a note was being made in the file. I put enough gas in the truck to replace all I used unless the truck got less than 5 miles per gallon. I was still charged a $30 fee + charged for fuel.Jonathan B.

The person handling the transaction was excellent in presentation and proactive in nature. Very well received. The hidden issues was that while the van was only $29 my bill came out to over $70! Ouch! and not a good spend of money to travel 25 miles . The exorbitant per miles fee is a negative and huge surprise when renting.John M.
