Have better communication where the â€œball isn't droppedâ€ and where there is not a four hour delay for the customer. Maybe be a little more apologetic and compensate with the truck rental fee as I didn't even have the truck for 24 hours because of the delay.Susan L.
The way U-Haul handled this rental was criminal. I reserved the truck that I would pick up 5 minutes from my home several days early. Then 30 minutes before I was to pick up the truck, I received a call telling me that I had to pick up truck 40 miles and a hour away. It took me almost 2 hours to get truck and get back. This is why the loaders had to wait over an hour for me. Then when I turned the truck in, the charge was 50.00 more than the price I received when I reserved the truck online. Your entire system is a bait and switch. I did not pick up of turn in the truck in the location I was given on line. I am very dissatisfied!EDWARD E.

My experience was horrible, no one checked identification, no one was there at the location to walk me through the process and where to find the key. I called multiple times and whoever answered the phone had no clue what was going on or how to help me in any way. They called two days later and asked if I ever picked the truck up... Thank God I'm an honest person. Now I have four pending charges on my credit card. This whole experience was a disaster Ill never rent another uhaul.Michael B.

Talk about WOW. There was an issue with the truck at 10.30 PM (I was picking up the truck via the app) and the owner of the business came in the pouring rain to help me get going! WOW - I thought service like that died in the 1970's. I hope this owner gets this Thank You and knows I am very appreciative !!!William H.

The woman who did our rental was so pleasant. From speaking to her on the phone, to completing the paperwork all efficient and courteous. Drop off was a little scary as we were approached by a white pickup with several men asking us what we were doing and if we were lost, almost accusatory. They didn't identify themselves, but later discovered they worked there and were just patrolling the place. Still a little uncomfortable.Tom C.

When I left with truck there was half of a tank of gas. I noticed that firm that they gave me read 5/8 of a tank. I thought oh well not that big of a deal, could just be angle truck was parked. I drive 110 miles, out put 10 gallons of gas in it at a gas station 1/4 mile down the road, which filled it to half of a tank. I was emailed the receipt and an additional $20 was charged for 4 gallons of gas. Just felt like fuel gauge was inaccurate. I have never rented a u haul so this was a new experience for me.MARIE P.

The location the trucks are stored in is a trap to get the truck stuck so you have to pay them to tow it out. The unit I rented was dirty, had bad breaks, no power steering, and the mialage was not tracked properly. I only drove 27 miles but I was charged for 74.James B.

Location was not open with no clear advisement on when they would be back. Did not appear they were going to be back open as the keys were left under the seat. They only reason I did not give a one-star rating is they did at least leave the key under the seat, but it made the check-in process much more problematic to do using the phone app. Had tons of problems with the phone app.David B.

Frank's was outstanding. However, we were scheduled at a different site first that site was horrible the trailer was in disrepair. When I left there I called uhaul and was transferred to three different people who were extremely rude as to why I was calling and as if it was my fault the trailer was in such bad shape. Overall the expierence with Frank's was outstanding very professional I will rent directly from franks in the future. My experience with uhaul corporate on the the phone was horrific.Tim J.

The original pick up location had no U Hauls. After making a call, we were sent to another location which was nice but very inconvenient to us. The 1st location - you need to let people know Uhaul's aren't stored there. You need to get more organized.THERESA F.

UHAUL RESERVED ONLINE 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE. WAITED IN OFFICE OVER AN HOUR FOR THE RESERVATION TO BE COMPLETE. EMPLOYEE WASN'T VERY ACKNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE UHAUL WEBSITE. OVERALL NOTSATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE. I DIDN'T HAVE THAT KIND OF TIME TO WAIT. I reserved a truck 2 days early for a 9am pick up. I got to the first location and waited over an hour at a closed business. So, I called customer service. They found me a truck at another location....finally. If the story stopped there, it would have been one thing. Frank's was nice enough to extend my time with the truck because of the problem with pick up.....but when I got the truck, it had 1/4 of a tank of gas. I put $20 in, and drove the truck 20 miles, and deturned it with more fuel than when I picked it up, but was still charged $41.25 for fuel. Rip-off!Spencer W.
