The worst service I have ever received from U-Haul this store lacked customer service and was very unprofessional. When it was time to drop off nobody was there and I was not informed so I had to leave the keys with the store next door so I wouldn’t be charged for an extra day. Terrible experience.

Uhaul had me scheduled to pick up my truck at 7 am on Saturday. Only they didn't inform me that Front Row Tobacco doesn't open until 9 on Saturdays. It ruined my moving plans because it made us late for our scheduled arrival at our destination. As a result, I will have an extra charge from the movers because I could not make the 4 hour drive in time for them to help. They are going to charge me for 3 hours of 2 mover's time for the time that I was not able to show up on time.

Very awkward rental setting (a paraphanelia shop). Extremely clumsy check-in, polite but a little overwhelmed with handling U-Haul and other non-U-Haul related business The online requested hand truck and blankets were not provided as ordered online and was charged to my CC. Supposedly the 23$ fee was refunded to my credit card, however when returning truck in Sacramento no record in the U-Haul system showed I did not receive that rented equipment. The good folks on Florin Road refunded the $23 to my CC after I told them why I had no blankets or hand truck upon return.

Original charge was $65 . The next day I got charge $130 I know there’s a fee for gas but I only used the vehicle for an hour and around 13 miles ,There and back . $130??? For an hour of use .

Unprofessional. Received fraud alert from bank after transaction. Cars blocking U-Haul trucks in parking lot. Did not receive additional mileage for loading and unloading.

The right side mirror was broken could not move or be used whilst driving this making it not only dangerous for the occupants inside but for surrounding cars. If I had been driving alone without another person looking out the right front window yo check for cars , it could been disastrous. Renting a vehicle in this condition is against california laws and should not operate until fixed. When I mention the attendant said ge knew but proceed to rent, had I known I would have cancelled but took a chance.

They totally took advantage and charged me $144 dollars when I thought I was renting a truck for 19.95 total feel ripped off.

The truck was in great condition. But the extras that I really needed for my move were not included and created some issues for me and the person helping me. This included no walk-up ramp connected to the truck, no dolly, no blankets. My other issue is less to do with the location than with the UHall "self-serve" 24/7 offering. The whole point is for it to be convenient and fairly quick. I had to go through an additional verification step just to be able to complete the pick up. My options were a passport picture, have them call someone to verify me... and other inconvenient options. The unfortunate part is you don't get to this screen until you are at the pick-up location (you can't start the pick up process otherwise).

Don’t commit fraud. Give customer contract at time of signing, don’t slam customers with fraudulent charges like insurance, 1/4 tank refill, one way rental when customer requested round trip, be open the days and times stated on signs and promised, don’t insult customers using religion

My initial reservation was at 1430 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA on Sunday, May 1 at 10am. I was running late to pick up the truck so I called Uhaul to let them know and they said I have until 11am before the reservation is canceled. I arrived at 10:45am and my reservation had already been canceled so I was given incorrect information. Luckily, I was able to find another truck available. When I tried to return the truck at 333 Anacapa St. in Santa Barbara, CA last night there wasn’t any parking available so I had to drive back the next morning and was charged for extra miles. I also put in extra gas into the truck and was not offered a refund for it. I don’t think I’ll be renting from Uhaul anymore.
