Clerk had a hard time handling the reservation and I had to call Uhaul to fix the rate. Other than that she was pleasant and kind.

Richard Ai had reserved an appliance dolly for moving heavy appliances, which comes with straps to make the move easier. My first time using U-Haul without also using a truck and i've used them many times in the past. I called the 1-800 number for U-haul customer service and was told i could rent the appliance dolly at the above convenience store, nearby where I was. When i arrived for the dolly, they only had the UTILITY DOLLY available, without straps (which rents for $7/day). The lady that I dealt with at the above store arrived, and we even looked through the available trucks they had because she and I both knew the dolly was NOT what I had reserved. There was NO appliance dolly there, so i went ahead and took the UTILITY DOLLY hoping it would be of some help during the move I was doing that day. She said she would list the "return time" 12 hours from when I picked up the dolly. the UTILITY DOLLY was of NO help to us in the move at all because it was simply too small and had no straps to secure a heavy appliance onto it. I returned the UTILITY DOLLY a little after 8 p.m., and upon telling the cashier that I was returning the dolly, that it was not what i had reserved and was NO help to us, she proceeds to tell me now they are charging me another $10.70 for being LATE returning the dolly. I assured her that i was NOT late, I had until 9:15 to return the dolly. She told me to take it up with U-Haul that it was out of her control. I have used U-Haul many times (not from this store), and never had any problems with truck or dollies until this move. I would NOT recommend this vendor for a U-Haul rental and will not use them again. They do not have all the equipment needed available, and will go back to a U-Haul ONLY store in the future, IF I should ever need them again, WHICH IS NOT IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE! When I returned this morning to check with the cashier about my U-haul experience before I dispute with my bank, she told me she'd try to reach the U-haul rep to get a refund started on my card. She did call me when she'd spoken with the Rep at U-haul and said they were refunding an additional $3. I was charged $21.70 for the APPLIANCE DOLLY, when the UTILITY DOLLY rents for $7/day.. We will see what about is refunded before i dispute the entire amount with my bank.

Alan SThey’ve just started doing uhual so that’s why I say average, but I think it has the potential to be excellent one day! Like I said they just started with uhual but they were great & helpful!
