Will not return to the same store
PETER LThis is my second time I booked uhaul First time I booked the experience was amazing But second time it is very worst So what happened when I picked the truck yesterday i call uhaul neighbourhood dealer that where we can park our car and he said please don’t park in front of my shop and park at different spots on plaza And park in other spot and in plaza there is limit for two hours so i picked up the truck and after two hour i came and i parked my truck on the same spot where I picked and took my car and I didn’t return the key because i need for 24 hours and in the morning the dealer called me and yelling at me that why you park the truck and didn’t return the key and then i said I didn’t return the key because i booked for 24 hours and then he said that please return the key or take the truck away from here because i have to park others truck Then I went after 20 minutes to pick the truck there was so much spce for parking the truck

BISMARK YOne of my worst experiences with UHaul. I made this booking more than 3 weeks in advance. Booked a 10' truck for 10am Mar 31st. Very randomly I called the Uhaul location on Mar 30th to make sure where they will leave the keys for me. To my surprise they refused that they do not open till 10.30am and they do not have a provision for mobile pick-up. On top refused that they do not have dolly as well. I did call UHaul customer service and scheduling team as well, complaining and trying to see if I can find another truck and dolly but since it was so last minute nothing was available. Mar 30th late evening I had to arrange a dolly and paid penalty to move my stuff as well as I missed my slot for delivering. On Mar 31st I went to pick the truck at 10.30am and it had a dolly in it but by that time I had already paid for another one and also paid penalty to change by time slot for delivering. UHaul should look into this, why the portal allows us to book these times if the location is refusing for mobile pickups and also for Dolly. I should be compensated for the extra charges I ended up paying because of UHaul mismangement.

SYED AThe truck needs to be checked on the wipers we’re torn up the truck was covered in snow even though it hasn’t snowed for a week there was garbage in the cab and box and the passenger door was left unlocked however long it was sitting before I got it however this location is very convenient for me and I will absolutely continue renting from here

NAMAN BThe person who own this location is very rude. He always want you to pay extra. Be caution for the fuel level. I drove the truck for just 17 miles and i have to pay the 16$ gas that make no sense to me. Don’t come to this location. Never!!!
Prashant GTruck was dirty inside and the guy at the store was rude. Me and my wife were both there when we picked up the truck , he clearly stated there is 1/4 of gas and we need to return it with 1/4 tank. Upon returning the truck he then told us it was 5/16 of a tank and we owe him 12 bucks for gas. He's a petty asshole who shouldn't be representing your brand..

Yanothan SI ordered a 15’ truck with a dolly and blankets. When I picked up the truck there was no dolly and no blankets. I was told that this location does not provide them. When I ordered my truck on line, it was to be from Bobby’s U-Haul which was right around the corner from where I live. I was later contacted and advised that the only 15’ truck was at the Dundas location. At no time was I advised prior that I would not have any blankets or dolly. I am extremely disappointed in the service I was provided.
DANIEL MClearer signage so you know computer repair store is rental office. Vehicle Gas tank was at 3/4 when we received it, but we were forced to pay extra to top it up to full on return
ALLAN FUnfortunately, the vehicle was not clean, and the battery was low, which caused inconvenience. Additionally, the dolly was unavailable at the rental pick-up location, and I was not informed about this before booking the vehicle.
SANJEEV NThey did not have any dollies, so I had to go to another Uhaul location and ended up buying a dolly.
CHRISTOPHER MI rented the U-Haul specifically to move appliances. I did request an appliance dolly with my order. This pick up location did not have a dolly. U-Haul sent me to a location that was 20-30 minutes away. Luckily, my renovation contractors had a dolly with them.

KARTIK AHorrible customer service. Horrible “store front” enough room for one person to step in and then it is covered in garbage, and computer parts. Does not look clean or professional. Definitely will not ever use U-Haul again especially after the person Nicole and dimed me over $2.00 in gas. Over charged. Go to a different outlet!

mark bThe basic problem is UHAUL or its franchise or location do not understand the need of the customer. They simply deny the services already reserved. I had booked a furniture dolly and the location mentioned they don't have any and do not provide the service and after reaching the customer service team they simply refused to help and told me that they won't charge for the dolly but failed to explain why the booking was taken in the first place. Highly unprofessional service of Uhaul forced me to take help of one more people and I ended up paying CAD 50 extra to that gentleman.
JAGJIT SAsk the agents who book the trucks for clients to make it more clear and transparent the instructions to be followed to return the truck so as to avoid any fee, not making it clear and transparent is more likely to make some extra money over the booking amount. Faced same issue as it was my first time to book the truck via uhaul and it was extremely bad experience as the agent didn’t explain the steps how to return and close on the app.

VISHAV PMy original reservation was at Heena Dairy Mart, 1225 Dundas Street East, Unit 17. The truck was not there and therefore the reservation had to be switched to 60 Dundas East. This the second time I have had a bad experience at Heena. I don't think that I will be using them again.

When I arrived, the agent told me there were no trucks available, closed the office, and left me standing there with no solution. El aThe person at the location was extremely rude and unfriendly. I booked online and was suppose to pick up at 8am on Saturday. The guy called and said I couldn’t do that because he didn’t open until 1030 and said I couldn’t check in online like my reservation said I could. There were no soft cloths or dolly available like I had booked as well. I would not recommend this location, it gives U-Haul a very bad name.

HECTOR POriginally booked at Tomken and Burnahamthorpe. Went to pick up truck and told there was no truck returned. So we called U haul for help and was told to go to Dundas store. No one called to tell us about the cancellation. U haul representative (Celeste) said we would receive a $50 credit on my Visa for the inconvenience. Still waiting and would know who to contact for this credit. Dundas operator very good.

JAN TVery poor customer service. Instead of checking the vehicle on return, was asked to take pictures in phone and had to do it twice. He could have easily inspected the vehicle to know the fuel level and kilometres. Terrible experience.

Thai HI had requested for a dolly but when I reached the location, they said they don't have dollies there! I should have been informed of that before hand.
MANDAR SLocation: Good location, easy to find vehicles and return keys. Cell signal is strong so quick to upload pics for mobile pickup/return. Specific experience: Brake lights and left turn signal light not working. Please fix quickly for the next customer. Also, please update app so the units (km vs miles) are all consistent for Canadian users vs American users, including advertised pricing in km or miles.

AMARBIR N- Should have the option for Van/truck drop off at other location - Dolly was also requested with the rental, but only at rental location was informed that they only provide rental van and other supporting devices (boxes, dolly, protective coverings) mentioned in the website they do not have.
MOHAMMED YI have only driven this U-Haul 9' cargo van for 10 kilometers. But I needed to fill up 19.

ABDULRAHMAN SThr person we delt with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The only problem was that we had to return the uhaul van instead of taking it one way. Our trip was 300km. And too far to return the van so we had to cancelled the van. It was very inconvenient. Uhaul advertizes that you can just drop the vans off in the locations that you are driving to but this location said we couldn’t.

MOHAMED KExtremely pathetic service. The shop timing was open but the person was not available and it was locked. I needed the van in an emergency but due to him not being at the shop, I waited outside for almost 2 hours for him to arrive. I made him multiple calls and he always lied about reaching. Standing outside the dealer shop for 2 straight hours until he finally arrived. He then had a very rude attitude. The address for this dealer shop was 60 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON. An extremely poor service, and would never recommend to anyone. I request U haul to take an action against him.

Spavin NPoor customer service. Did not get the text i was told on returning and dropped the keys in the drop box. Called customer service very nice and stated i cant take pics now doors are locked. Owner charged me night service fee and more fuel because he took the pic on an angle to try and make more money off me. Asked for the original photo and hasn't responded. Not at all happy with my experience with this location
Mike NInterface was much lessx than warm....the explanation to fill out online and where to get that information - was not well communicated - and there was no mention of costing me 20CAD if I did not fill that return on line ...makes it very difficult to understand - where exactly to get that form to fill out..I spent 30 mins trying to get any correspondence which direct me to fill out the return ...really very disappointed....
DEONARINE SRental truck was there and on arrival. Parking availability on return was tight. The storekeeper was helpful and efficient. My only issue is the 24/7 truck share. The app and website are almost useless. App doesn't work - it doesn't recognize the GPS location even when it's working. The GPS location is crucial to completing pick-up, so the app is useless. The website 24/7 check in works, but barely. The slightest issue on the website and you'll have to start again. Only managed to get it to work by calling customer service...which hung up 2/3 times, after 15 mins wait per call. STAY AWAY from the 24/7 truck share. Just rent during open office hours. Check out was a bit more smooth, but you don't get any confirmation that it was successful - the website just refreshes leaving you wonder if it even worked at all. AGAIN I had to complete the process by speaking to the store employee. The contactless process does not work, don't even try if you're planning on picking up the equipment off hours as you'll have to wait for store hours and an employee to complete the process anyways. Lost 3 hours on move day due to this.
Phillip MI specifically ordered a dolly and furniture blankets, and when I went to pick it up, the location had none. This made my move extremely difficult. The attendant knocked down $15 from my total but I was still overcharged for this equipment that I never received.

Abdulla KOn the phone I was told there would be parking for my car while I used the truck. The parking was not available, I had to find parked a fair walk away during a bad rain storm. The site opened late due to the staffs late arrival. It put us almost an hour behind schedule. Standing in the rain waiting for the location to open. No contract was provided. Nor could I get the contract on my phone. As a result I was unable to correctly estimate the gas needed to be replenished and I ended up putting a full 1/8 of a tank more gas in the truck that was needed. There was no dolly or morning blankets available. This located was awful compared to the Brampton location I normally rent from.
