My experience with renting a vehicle from U-haul was painless, and Daniel was very professional and friendly. He was knowledgable about the rental service, and since he knew what he was doing, I was out of there in no time. ThanksDarren V.
The attendant needs training and assistance. He took over an hour to get my reservation to pull up in the computer. He did NOT have the size I reserved but kept the cost of it in the computer. He did not have the hitch and pin in stock that I ordered and paid for when I booked the reservation online. He told me he securely hooked up the trailer to my truck only to have it come out and almost caused a serious accident 2 streets over, less than 10 minutes after leaving with it. When I called him to inform him what happened all he could day was, "ohh my God." I missed my appointment to pick up and they sold some of it to someone that was there! He told me I could keep the trailer an additional day because the lady agreed to meet me there the next day since that happened and she couldn't wait any longer the day of my appointment! I arrived the turn in day to drop it off, the email confirmation stated they closed at 3. I arrived around 2:20 and they closed at 2! No one was there. I tried to do online check-in but ended up calling customer service because it was trying to charge me for the larger trailer I had requested, BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY IN STOCK, and for 2 days!! Well, the CSR documented and stated they would handle it from there. Finally, the location didn't close my contract out until late Monday and charged me for 4 days!!! I called the location, he said there was nothing he could do that I needed to call customer service again!! I called and the rep was so nice, he read my file, and assured me he would handle it. I have not checked my account to see if my money has been returned yet, but I will NOT use this location, nor uhaul, if I can help it, ever again!Towanna W.

I waited an hour to get the cargo van and the van was not clean. You need to disinfect it every time someone rents it because of the Covid 19. It needs to be vacuumed out too.Robbin H.

this is the worst experience that I've ever had with U-Haul there was no one at the location it was very hot outside we had to wait several hours to get assistance. They just put on the people that were working there quit and walked out prior to us arriving witched caused a big headache for us.Jessica C.

When returning the truck the first thing it tells you to do is place the keys in the drop box. Then after you go through the return check in it gives you the code for the key holder. It should tell you not to put your key up till the end of the checkin.David V.

There were no representatives present. Had to unhook and return trailer myself using internet instructions. Is a problem for senior citizens. I would still recommend U-haul because their equipment is in good shape and the fees are reasonable.Harold W.

It would be helpful to have more than one person in the office. The young lady that was there was very helpful although she was alone. She was working with another customer hooking up a pull trailer that ended up having a flat tire, which made my waite longer. But my overall experience with U-Haul was good. Since you did not give me anywhere to tell you this I will here. The truck died on use at one point when we turned the air conditioning on. We turned all electrical off (radio and air conditioning) and it cranked back and fortunately we didn't have any other problems. There was no other place to report this problem. Also, the strap on the hand trucks was broke when we picked up the truck but we did not use them. I have pictures of the two hand trucks we own that we used. Also the screw holding the hand trucks in place broke sometime during the use of the truck. We did not damage the handtrucks or place anything close to the handtrucks because we didn't want out furniture scratched. I don't know how the screw broke but we did not damage it.Julie W.
