KELLY LThe initial rental started off good and easy but when there was a problem and I was incorrectly charged the 2 ladies working at the location were not helpful and actually pretty rude. I am not a hostile or rude person when it comes to little challenges, so I was never confrontational. I tried to explain when I returned the truck and that I have photos to verify the time, she cut me off and said "I don't care, call the customer service line and explain it to them. I left and called the line and they were very helpful and corrected the error. I would not recommend this location but do recommend U-haul.

JIMMY CWhen a payment is going to be taken from a customer for damages to the rental, it would be nice for the customer to know when the payment is being taken and what the amount is going to be. It would also be a good idea to provide an invoice so the customer knows exactly what they are paying over $700 for!!! I expected I would have to pay, I did not expect for the payment to just be taken from my account at whatever amount without knowing what the amount would be.

MICHAEL AThere was control off the steering column that we didn't understand, like a turn signal with plus and minus. Not sure what it did. Need to be told that dolly straps need to be tightened periodically when they loosen and should the tow vehicle be left in neutral or in drive? But we got there and all was good.

ANGELA TTraffic needs to improve reservations! I reserved a truck and tow and was told they would both be at the Gainesville location. They were not. I had to drive to valley view to pick up tow!

MARK SBoth ladies were extremely helpful and friendly. Both insured that my experience with U Haul was perfect. I have used U Haul at many other locations and states. This is by far the best customer service I have received.
David PThe rental of the 26’ was fine. However, the next day tried to rent a 10’ to finish-tried to extend the original and wasn’t able to-app said truck was parked in front. It wasn’t. Was in chat for 30+ mins and was told did you look here? Finally called CS and was told yes get it it’s in the back. No keys in lockbox. Someone who works there, definitely dropped the ball. Thankfully corporate was able to help me. After 90 mins of crap, I got another truck. Hoping this place uses this as a learning moment and does better next time.

TAMERA WThe truck was muddy on the outside like it had been driven through a mud puddle. I had to sweep out the back before I could load.
SANDRA BThe rear roll up door was sticking so I applied some WD-40; that fixed the door; but, the door could also use a handle to leverage it down so that the latch (which requires two hands) could be released and then engaged. Took two people; one standing on the pull strap in a closed position down; while another used both hands to release and then engage the latch. A simple handle would make it 70% easier.

NICOLE M | Overall ExperienceI work with Merit Advisors and we rented a 10x20 unit. Upon measuring for shelving, we realized it was 7.5x20. I called and TJ said that it is false advertisement and the owners lie and tell people it is a 10x20 when it is really not. I asked for a discount, but she said that they would have to discount 79 other customers for the same thing, so the answer is no. This is definitely bad business! I will never professionally or personally rent from this facility ever again and will tell my coworkers/friends/family to do the same. I just cannot believe that this is the policy. It is dishonest and horrible. I will be looking for my refund.
