The locations was neat and Van/truck was parked in front and easy to get to. Drop box right in front of van, so that was nice. But the truck had some mud residue/scrapes on floor when picked up. Very light colored mud, just like in parking lot to the side where all others are parked, so I'm guessing it came from parking lot. Not really that bad, but just enough that I was worried dropping the truck off that someone might think I left it dirty. Also, transmission was slipping if taking a corner at speed. Had to make sure you cornered slow, or it would slip again. Not horrible but probably needs transmission fluid, so probably not checked in advance. Location was okay, but not great. Seemed like rough part of town, but that is better than on far side of town.

Her 2 grandsons help guide me into the spot and they pulled the trailer off my truck as well. Once again, making it a breeze to sign and pull away.
RONALD SParking of the rental truck was VERY tight, a telephone pole was right in front of me and it took some doing to get the truck out of its parking spot. Also had no choice but to drive off the curb into a very narrow, 2 lane road.
TROY HI was charged for fuel when I replaced the fuel level to the same level that it was given to me. Also, you advertise a day rate, you don’t advertise a mile rate. That seems like false advertisement. 3rd, her grandson, Lee, checked the vehicle in and Reved the engine up and burned more gas. The fuel levels on the contract are inaccurate compared to the paper. If a car has been sitting/ the fuel gauges can give an erroneous count. Once a customer drives away, the fuel level drops. I did not get my military discount. The whole experience was not good. And I have rented from there before.

mary kSigned up for mobile pick up due to convenience but when I arrived nothing had been set up. I was asked to get information from the odometer for them. That was the first issue. Doing the whole registration process without knowing beforehand was a huge inconvenience. Not to mention I was called the day before and confirmed it was a mobile pick up and the keys would be available in the lock box. She refused to use my debit card even though it met the requirements, forcing me to use a credit card. Lastly I noticed on the receipt that insurance was added without asking me. I opted out on my online registration. It was an added expense I didn’t need. This location really needs to improve on it’s customer service.
NIA JLADY DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH, CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR UHAUL WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 329.00 . THEN CHARGED ME FOR INSURANCE 40.00 THAT I DID NOT WANT. TOLD HER NO 3 TIMES. THE TIRES WERE LOW ON AIR, THE BRAKE FLUID WAS LEAKING ONTO MY VEHICLE AND THE TIRE STRAPS WERE CUT BY SOMEONE AND TO SHORT. I ONLY USED IT FOR LESS THAN A DAY AND A HALF. VERY DISSAPOINTED WITHTHE QUALITY CONTROL UHAUL HAS WITH THERE VENDERS .. AND NOT TO OFFER A MILITARY DISCOUNT ON TOP OF IT.

I told them I would be back in 15 or 20 minutes as I was taking my truck to the shop when I returned 45 minutes later no one was there and the store was closed when I dropped the truck off today. The store was closed and there was a customer setting in 19° weather out front Supposed to have picked a truck up 20 minutes earlier and the store was locked. No one there.

Jeri RThe truck was dirty. I ordered the truck specifically to tow a trailer. I left to the next location to grab the trailer and was surprised to find out that there was no ball hitch attached. When I went back to ask where the hitch attachment was, I was told that they don’t offer it anymore because people were stealing them. Luckily I own a ball hitch but I had to drive all the way back home to retrieve it which ran the miles up on the truck. It was extremely inconvenient. The area is also a little sketchy for me. At night it looks a little scary.

Several days after drop off, we still hadn't received our notice from U-haul so had to call and have someone go check the location for us to confirm our return. U-haul themselves performed this just fine and we received our confirmation of return to this location but this location should be shut down.

BONNY LHours of operation indicated location was open - THEY WERE CLOSED Lot of trailers was not well organized so difficult to leave trailer Parking lot on a very steep hill so I needed to go to Home Depot, purchase wheel chocks and leave them so the trailer did not roll into the street

colin mAc quit working 1/2 through trip. I was overcharged and the receiving U-Haul business in college station made an inaccurate reading of the fuel so I was charged $$ in error. I will never use U-haul again.

Scott CLocation did not have trailer ready, it was parked behind other trailers, person helping with hooking up the trailer was intoxicated and I had to help him hook up trailer. Also location added Safety $25 charge when I did not select during reservation and didn't see it until after the rental return receipt.
ZUBAIR CI had some issue with the pickup. I arrived at my scheduled pickup time but the lock box for the key would not open. The store was closed during normal business hours since the owner had stepped away. Luckily they came back shortly later. They told me their lock box has not worked for a while and UHaul has refused to provide them a new one.
Jonathan BI had to wait an hour and a half to pickup the trailer. Then I had to wait to drop off the trailer. I was directed to do a electronic drop off. That worked good.

AMY SThe 20-ft van was very dirty inside and the outside windshield was full of baked on bird crap and the inside window was covered in dried dirt. However, the owner did offer to go get cleaning supplies and clean it but I told her I’ve already waited 45-minutes to get to get the rental and I had people waiting to load it up. She said she didn’t have time to clean it before I got there. Also, the gas tank was supposed to have just under a full tank and she said it was lower than that and for me to take a picture of it and let them know when I returned it in Michigan. When I started the rental the gas gauge needle showed the tank was below 3/4 full. When I went just up the street I put $20 in the tank and it only brought the needle to where the owner had originally said the actual level was at. Was disappointed about this but I did make sure I returned the rental with 3/4 tank, and I completely cleaned the inside/outside windshield and the entire cab of the vehicle. I didn’t want anyone else to have to drive it in the condition I had to.

Jason KMy drop off point was Galvans Quick Stop Grocery, 2425 N 12th St, Abilene, TX 79603. When I arrived during business hours to drop off the UHAUL truck, the only person qualified to receive the truck was not available for two hours. The attendant suggested I leave the keys and contract with him so the the turn in process could be completed at a later time. I was not comfortable with this idea and proceeded to call a UHAUL representative. It took me almost an hour to complete the process. This was not a pleasant experience.
David DDrop off location is terrible. Lot is full with no room for equipment drop off. Employees avoid customers and run away when approached.

Angela CI do not recommend. When using this company (U-Haul) they will charge you extra for any unknown reason. They don’t take anything into consideration when traveling from state to state. For the price they initially provided my was acceptable, however when I go to get the rental the price increased which wasn’t acceptable, then when I returned my rental the office was close at 12 on Saturday. If your moving state to state, Just use another company, that way you don’t have to pay this company almost $2000 and still have to do all the work.

I had movers waiting at the house for us to get back so I we could load up and get to our destination. If you are going to be a U Haul dealer one needs to be there when the customer gets there they know what time the customer is suppose to pick up the truck right? BC 2-6-2024
