CHRISTOPHER HI booked an electronic pick up however the packing blankets were not in the truck as per the agreement. Also, the truck gas was at 1/4 meaning I had to go to a gas station to fill it up immediately after pick up at pick up slowing me down for my appointment. I would prefer to pick up the vehicle full of fuel.
Jeffrey EThe repair shop ripped me off the last time rented a car carrier I had drop the trailer off and they weren't open at 5 o'clock in the evening I went in the next morning to confirm I dropped the trailer off they charged me for another day because they weren't open when I dropped it off
WINSTON SOnce I was inside the truck it had the smell of wet dog with dusty paw prints on door and seats aswell as ass prints on the vinyl seats aswell with scattered dog hair over dash and cup holder...
Terry BThe headlights were not working . We were driving after dark . It was quite dangerous when we were required to turn the lights ( high beam) off when there was oncoming traffic . Otherwise , the experience was good .
Jacqueline JExcellent service in Gander NL and from the phone staff at UHaul when I called for help. Marcus went back to the shop after closing on a Friday to ensure that we had a reliable truck for our move. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The service was excellent!
DEBBIE MOur first truck broke down and needed a starter repair. The truck had been working well and suddenly died as this is what happens when the starter breaks down.The shop had closed for the day. They saw us driving to the shop in our own car and stopped to seecif we needed help. They went back to the shop on a Friday after closing and we were able to get a replacement truck to complete our move. That is amazing service! As i said, the shop was closed! They went back to the shop for us after they had closed for the weekend. You cannot find better service than this! If you give out service rewards, the Gander Repair Shop in NL certainly deserves one!!! I will recommend this shop to everyone.

Derrick HOnly issue I had was UHaul was not able to confirm the truck size / pickup location until the morning of pickup. We flew to Gander from Ottawa to drive Uhaul back to Ottawa. When I contacted UHaul when we arrived in Gander (week before pickup) - they indicated the truck size / pickup location / availability would be confirmed by 5PM the day before pickup (Sun Sep 22rd). We got no confirmation until the morning of pickup (Mon Sept 23rd). This caused unnecessary stress (would we have a truck, would we have to go to another location outside Gander for pickup, would we end up with a larger vehicle (which would affect our ferry reservations...). Limited moving supplied (moving blankets) available in Gander at pickup time In the end, the requested truck was available in Gander - so all worked out

Paul KI am disappointed that I did not receive full compensation for excess gas put in vehicle when i returned the vehicle. I agreed up front to accept the credit for 1/16 of excess gas ..$10. and some cents, but due to load and windage conditions i added fuel at p/u destination and had 5/16 more fuel when i returned . I was not credited for this amount of fuel (1/4 tank not given a credit for). very disappointed.

Brody PHave a system for manual contracts in the event that the system goes down. We experienced a delay getting our truck on a day where we were already significantly delayed. However the dealer was good to work with and we appreciated them helping us out when in a jam.

Nelson AMake other vehicle types available. I ordered a 9' cargo van. Website result showed it was available for Friday only to receive a call that they do not have the vehicle a day after. Also, inside the vehicle can be cleaner.
Kingsley AI wasnt present for the drop off but everything went smoothly and the people I spoke with were friendly and helpful.
