EDWARD SThis location is absolutely horrific. I have called corporate U-Haul 3 to 4 times during my rental and I’ve not gotten a phone call back from anyone in management. I picked up a truck and when I got home to load it with the movers we found it was infested with cockroaches , I have called several times trying to figure out what to do with this situation and no one from U-Haul management will return my calls. This rental location in Lowery South Carolina needs to be shut down immediately and you are continuing to let him lease to people. Shame on you!! Again I’m requesting some one in U-Haul management to call me back, and I now want a refund for this rental and my complete utter disgust with your lack of follow up along with the inconvenience this has caused me and my family.

Bobbi JMileage is waaaay too expensive. Ad says 19.95 a d I get that u have to add insurance buti used the truck for less than 7 hours and drove 58 miles and was charges over 100$.

Seri SMake sure the operator of the self storage/truck rental is on the property when a pickup is imminent. We had to wait quite a while for her to get there.

We rented a uhaul on 08/03 for 8/14 and it was cancelled on 8/13 with no notification, I only found out from looking at my reservation online when wondering why no one called the night before as mentioned that they would. Then they told me no rental of my size were available so they found a 15” 36 miles away. Then called me a few hours after that was reserved to tell me the rental just up and vanished from their parking lot so then I had to drive and hour and a half just to pick up my next reservation they made for me. We were just jerked around so much and it was really stressful when in the process of moving.

Carlie RThe afterhours access was very bad. I couldn't get it to work for me since it wanted so much information. I was picking up the the company and it wanted so much info. PLEASE inform in an email what information will be needed when picking up the truck. The system for an employee to pick up a truck for a company could be a lot smoother.

Monique BThis isn't about this location, more about customer service on the phone when I was setting the reservation. Why didn't anyone tell me it would have been cheaper to go round trip and pay the mileage than go one way?! It ended up costing way more than what it should have cost. I know you are in the business to make money but I think it is messed up. Moving to a new place already costs enough.
Ron CDoing a great job, but just forgot to provide the hand truck we ordered. Turns out we didn't need it after all, so thanks for saving us the expense. Fee for hand truck was refunded prior to returning vehicle even though we didn't call to inform them. Everything smooth from pickup to drop off. Quick and easy, no hassles.

She called me back and was able to switch trucks around so we could continue using the truck for the afternoon. She went above & beyond for us. I would definately recommend using this location for your U-Haul needs.

Roger MAnswer the phone, was trying to return my rental and waited 45 minutes calling multiple times and no one ever answered or came to the door. Not a good experience.
MICHAEL LAlthough I was not surprised by any of the charges on the final invoice, it would have been helpful to have a full list of charges when I picked the vehicle up. I was very pleased with the efficiency of the operation at Gap self storage as it made the experience very pleasant.

AMY CI think it would be fare to reimburse the customer for returning a vehicle with more fuel in it then when they received it. You want to charge $4.50 a gallon if it’s less, so you should take money off their bill if it’s over. Other than that, a great and easy experience
Joseph IWithout going into details I had better one on one communications with friendlier expectations with similar transactions else where. The woman who was in training was very sincere and nice. I need to make another trip back to Pa for another big move from storage but I am hesitance to do business there again. The Alcoa location was very friendly. Sorry for my star two rating but even my son-in-law commented about how things went as soon as we walked out the door. Truck was like new and ran great!

George DA few hours after I picked up my truck it started raining and I found out the wiper blades were shot. The right one had two pieces of the rubber about 5-6 inches long hanging of of them .
Robert UThe explanation of the manual process of check in and out needs to be explained more thoroughly, especially if there is no one to assist in the process. The truck was filthy inside when I picked it up. Just dirt and grime and sticky stiff all over the floor and in cup holders.

Raymond AHave an hourly rate for local hauling. I was charged for a full day although I only used the truck for a couple of hours. Took almost as long to fill out the forms to rent and return the truck as I actually used it.

Emerita Sfaster check out. seems between uhauls new way with technology its very time consuming. then add the person behind counter taking their good old time.... FYI Driver door would not always shut all the way making it very dangerous.
amy jBeing able to check the truck in through my phone was great. Having to use my phone pick the truck up, not so much. It took a long time for my license pics to upload through your site and to the computer of the storage place. I had a tight timeline and it was frustrating to have to wait for something to upload when I could have just handed it across the counter.
