CECIL VI will never rent a U-Haul online again. I will call and talk to a person. The first location didn't have the truck size I needed but it was close to my house. So I get told to pick up a truck that was a 20 minute drive further from my house costing me more in miles. I wanted a truck for one way only. This location was a one day use and it had to be returned to that facility as they owned the truck. Costing me even more in gas and miles. The only thing good about this experience was that the truck ran and I got moved. Extremely disappointed and made my moving experience extra stressful when I thought I had everything ready.

RONALD IKeep the reservation at the location I scheduled. I had to drive 30 miles to pick up a truck. They also didn’t include the hand dolly I reserved, so I had to go to another location to get one.
MICHAEL EThe truck was covered in bugs from the trip that it must’ve taken prior to me renting it. I had to scrub the windshield vigorously, and still couldn’t clean it completely. I’m not sure what the reasoning behind the gas tank policy is, but it felt like a full tank would’ve been more appreciated than half of one. Other than those things the truck served me well, and I would recommend the service to someone else that was making a similar sized move.

Dean WLocation did not have car dolly. Was notified by uhual rep to change my location to here day before as they had both truck and dolly, they did not. Uhual rep sent me 45 minutes to another location for tow dolly, costing me gas and time. The worst part was local uhual rep separated my reservation so my tow dolly cost non-bundle price and then proceeded to tell me I would get $50 for not having my reservation, never received this $50. I have moved with uhual many times before, this experience makes me question the brand loyalty I have for uhual. I will look into competitors for sure now, would not recommend uhual.

Raymond NThe staff was helpful and nice. We got a trailer to haul a full size pickup. It barely fit with the back tires half hanging off the back of the trailer. We could only drive 25 mph otherwise the trailer whipped back and forth really bad.
Nancy BThe trailer got a flat tire about 20 miles away from the shop. This could have been avoided. Thankfully, the trailer was not hauling the vehicle yet.
Mathew WArrived there before they were supposed to be closed but nobody was there. Had to use my car jack to get the trailer of the hitch. Trailer shows as returned on the Saturday 16th but I returned it on 14th.
Daniel CAfter I returned the truck I received an email of the amount charged to my credit card, which considerably higher then expected. Come to find out the beginning mileage was not the same as the picture I took of the gas and mileage when I picked the truck up. I called them the guy told me the person who handles U-haul wasn't there, but would leave a message for them to call me, still waiting. I checked my credit card all week payment was pending until Thursday. I called the place once again they again told me the person was not there but gave me the number of the main office in Pocatello, Idaho, I left at least 3 voicemails never got a call back! So I called my credit card and put in a dispute, told them what I thought I owed. The more I think about it I still feel it's still more then what it should be. Beginning miles (from my picture) 37505.3 returning miles 37537.7, so I drove it 32.4 miles, can you tell me how much I should have been charged?
