We were charged for an extra day, extra milage, and extra coverage. I feel this should not have been done because we had to drive so far to pick up the truck and we had it over the 4th of July weekend and it is hard to get help to load and unload the truck. It would have been much more reasonable if U-Haul would have allowed us to have the truck until Monday. WE turned it in early Monday morning.

The equipment was not up to standard and the location seemed to have no idea what they were doing. The equipment needs to be checked out better before customers leave. I didn't know what to look for and assumed the provider would have my best interest and safety in mind.

It's clear where the office is located but it's closed. No where does it indicate (a sign) where to go. You have to assume it's next door at the restaurant. It was discouraging because he's running a restaurant (cooking and prepping) taking care of the gas station (customers at the gas pumps) and trying to take care of us. He didn't go inspect the truck with us like they've done in the past. Kinda too much going on there plus it was located 10 miles outside of the main town. Not saying I wouldn't use U-haul again but I do know I won't be doing business at that location.

I was charged more than needed. We were told we could keep the uhaul all the next day and would not be charged. We kept it like 30 more minutes and we were charged another day... and then we were charged a dolly for 2 days when we didn't end up reserving or picking that up. I was charged $167.00 when it should have been about $75.00. Seriously, what a rip off.

They do very little Uhaul business and no actual Uhaul office, etc. You have to go in a convenience store/restaurant. The man was very personable though.

The attendant was distracted and did not put his phone down to focus on my needs. Due to his lack of attention, one of the straps on the vehicle tower came loose, noted by the border check agent, and could have resulted in a catastrophic issue. He did not cover all the details of chain requirements. Only until drop off did I learn that a chain connection was required to secure the vehicle properly.

I would have been better serviced at the location across from the school south of Silver City and closer to town for acquiring the wiring adapter I needed. Salem was great. U-Haul computer reservations are APALLING! What a waste of my time that was. Everything pre-arranged to save time? You must be joking!!!!

WAITED 1.5 HOURS FOR U HAUL PERSONNEL TO SHOW UP. NON CAME, LADY AT RESTRAUNET CALLED HER & UHSAUL PERSON SAID TO GIVE ME KEYS. SHE DID & WE DROVE OFF. A MAN KEPT CALLING MY CELL DAY OF TRAVEL, WAS UPSET THAT WE DID NOT SIGN CONTRACT. CALLED ME AT LEAST 10 X'S. NON PROFESSIONAL, RUDE.UHAUL MAN FROM HURLEY ASSED INS. TOLD HIM I DID NOT REQUEST INS. & TO TAKE OFF

I waited 1 1/2 hours for the truck. I was also charge for 2 days and only used it for 1. From 8am to 3:30 pm.

Waited at the location for over 2 hours to process the rental. Couldn't find the key. Absolutely horrible experience...should have rented in Silver City.

This is a new U-Haul location and it is very easy to park, navigate. The personnel is still learning, but think it will be nice once it is up and running for awhile. Personnel tried to research our payment issue with the original store.
