We made a reservation for a 10-footer truck. We reserved the space required on the Lewis ferry for our trip. When showed at the location to pick up the truck, after driving one hour and 10 minutes, the person at the desk told us that we were re-located to pick up at a different location, 20 minutes from there. After driving for another 1/2 an hour we arrived at a food service place. The person entered all the information and when time to ok the purchase the computer showed the attendant that the reservation was under a name of a person that was not the driver. That name I changed 3 (three) times because that driver had a back surgery and had to be replaced by another driver. The incompetence we experienced was at a level we cannot express. The person representing the U-Haul company was unwilling to help in any way. She requested to talk to the driver, who was in the hospital in New Jersey. I try to explain the situation, telling her that I changed his name several times, but she was impossible to talk to! Finally, she decided to change the name after being back and forth for twenty minutes. We spend much of our valuable time driving around like crazy. We had to catch a ferry at 2:45 pm and load the truck in 15 minutes. The stress and disappointing experience were extreme. The lock of respect for your customers is outraged. Not only we will never recommend your company again to anyone but we, the Catholic Church of St. Gianna will advertise against U-Haul company.

MICHAEL GKinda tricky thought it was a storge only at first maybe a sign out front would of been helpful. I was slightly confused on getting the gate to open but your employee saw me and let me in. Also I could of used some help lifting off the hitch on the 6×12 enclosed trailor. Everything else was satisfactory.
JOHN SI arrived at 10 am on Sat.nobody there in the office.4 people waiting outside. Had to wait half hr for someone to come and open up.
Paul FWell, for older folks, you might want to send text and email and an automated phone call that YOU MUST USE THE APP, THERE ARE NO HUMANS TO HELP YOU. 24/7 doesn't mean what you want it to. Open 24/7 usually means, staff available to help. Most people over 60 are not tech savvy. Put up a sign or advertise letting those arriving, there is no staff, use the app.
Leo BThe only problem was I was quoted a price . It cost more cause we had to use two locations . So two different prices . Plus the extra miles to get it.

Susan dLynn, the store manager, helped me by explaining the drop off procedure and made the process easy. Everything went well.
Elizabeth CStaff were nice at this location but the trailer has a roof leak, the floor is spongy and despite the trailer being too heavy to lift off the hitch it has no tongue jack. I’m not a weight lifter, what if I wanted to unhitch during the weekend I had it?
SHELLACE JThis site went well above and beyond to help us. Their kindness was so refreshing and welcoming. Moving is a very stressful process and they worked very hard to help us feel comfortable. These two ladies deserve raises, awards, and much accolades for their work ethic!

Linwood CI don’t know why you require pictures of vehicle, verification of gas gauge and mileage at pick up if it isn’t regarded when dropped off. Truck was relatively new and the brake lights were inconsistent. The gas gauge and mileage was incorrect and not corrected at drop off. The gas estimator was off at the end too! I put in the required amount and it ended up filling the tank!!

DANIEL RI was overcharged for fuel. When I checked in the person said fuel was 5/8 when the gas gauge showed the needle just shy of 3/4 which was where it was when I picked up the truck. I pointed this out. The clerk said too bad. She had closed the account and couldn’t do anything. So I was overcharged by $6.75. Not happy.

ANTHONY MFirst, it took 2 hours to get the key, when all I need it was the 4 digit code, and then I got a flat tire and it took roadside assistance over 3 hours for a 15 min job, when I tried to do it myself, the van didn't have the equipment necessary to change the tire myself, and on top of that, th3 guy that fixed the tire didnt do it the right way and I had a flat tire again, it was a nightmare
