i didn't appreciate being charged for 2 days when i picked up the equipment at 10am and returned it at 4:15. that wasn't fair. staff at the location said there's nothing they could do about it but i didn't believe them. he was nice enough to lend me a screwdriver so that was okay. no assistance hooking up trailer was offered, although i think there was only one staff so he couldn't leave the store (location is also a grocery store). would have given 4 or 5 stars if i hadn't been overcharged.
Simeon BThe truck was dropped off on Monday and dropped the key on the drop box as instructed. They only processed the return today, charged me for 3 extra days and extra gas! I called U-Haul directly and spoke to a nice gentleman who was very understanding and credited back all the extra charges. Would not recommend this location.
Tammy BHad a great experience renting from Gibbons food location. The young man working was very nice and displayed great customer service. The only problem was due to weather the U-Haul was stuck in the snow bank when I picked it up and the back door was frozen shut when I tried to open it to put in my items. I will be going back to rent here in the future and appreciate the help given to get me on the road when the U-Haul was stuck. I can’t blame the location for the bad weather as the units are stored outside. Thanks again to the person working he was very respectful and helpful.
