Shawn PYour online reservations system needs a complete overhaul. What a useless mess. I would never have ended up doing business with UHaul if I had not given up and called Gils Rental directly. They solved all the problems within minutes and were prompt and courteous at all times. But your online reservations system belongs in the Dark Ages.

BRUCE Whad a reservation for furniture dolly and 2 dozen pads which the facility simply did not have. fortunately harbor freight was nearby, and i was able to purchase (and now own) pads and dolly. it is espanola, and i make accommodations for that, and i very much appreciate the ability to rent trucks locally, but if certain equipment is not available we need to be able to make other arrangements before that time. truck seemed healthy, and functioned well. also, a quick squeegee of the windshield prior to rental would be nice (dead bugs). thanks guys.

Linda CHonestly I’ve been doing business with Victor at Gil’s since 2009 when my mom died and we needed to take most of her stuff to an auction house in Albuquerque. I rented a 26 footer. Victor is always pleasant and fun to talk to and I appreciate knowing he’s there the next time I need a rig or a trailer.

Paul TOne one days notice I had to drive 1 hour to pick up the tow dolly and one hour back to my residence before even beginning by trip. This in spite of the fact that there are 2 or 3 U-Haul dealers reasonably close to my residence. There needs to be sufficient inventory or a willingness to move inventory from one dealership to another: the convenience of the customer should always be the highest priority.

John RI was told the wrong location for drop off, despite confirming multiple times in the process that it has 24/7 drop off. Then, I was charged for the extra miles it took to get to said correct location. In fact, I was charged for miles despite the nearest (and only ope location to pick up a truck being close to 40 miles from the location (the exact amount of miles you get for free). When I asked about the incorrect drop off location and the miles, I was given extreme attitude by the first service lady who transferred me to a closed department. I had to call a second time, with a lady that was significantly more helpful. I will be moving cross country in a year, and I will NOT be using uHaul because of this experience.
Ava MYour company moved my pickup location 35 miles away 20 minutes before I was scheduled to pick my auto transport from a dealer 5 minutes from my house. This cost me an added 2 hours and 70 miles. I had to postpone my departure by a day 100% due to your awful schedule and resource management. Awful service!!! Not the pick-up location, the U-Haul booking service.
Mark HFast & Furious gate closed and locked on a Monday 10 am, good thing there’s a second location in Espanola. Gil’s Rentals had one man who wasn’t helpful, didn’t take paperwork, didn’t check trailer back in (got a call from Albuquerque 2 days later asking why trailer not dropped off), didn’t provide receipt. But on the plus side, we didn’t have to drive to Santa Fe.
Rick HVery difficult to find, not enough signage and conflicting signage. Went to someone’s home at first. I want to complain about rental return (NOT Gil’s but Fast and Furious). We went to return truck to location we chose and it was completely locked and no answer on their phone! Luckily I found the 1-800 number on my contract and they were able to change my drop off location.
Deborah KI always use this location when renting a uhaul. They also have tons of other equipment to rent as well. Very friendly staff, would recommend this place every time.
