The staff at this location were amazing; the trailer was disgustingly dirty. There was mud/manure/leaves all over it. The ceiling and walls included. It was frozen to the ground so hadn’t just been dropped off in that shape. I understand that it’s harder to clean these out in the winter, but it hadn’t even been swept outr looked at. The fella was apologetic and kicked most of the loose stuff out. I had to stop at a car wash and spray it and scrub it out. I was moving my father and his household goods so we couldn’t have the smell in there. The hitch part was missing a piece according to where we dropped it off, a safety latch. That is very worrisome as we drove from Bathurst to Hamilton. The drop off was really great, the staff was super helpful. I will use U-Haul again when I move in a couple months, but I was disappointed with that particular trailer.

JASON EThe service is very friendly and efficient although the store is quite busy with other customers. At pickup, the young lady was quite knowledgeable about the workings of the trailer when we asked questions (latch for door, etc.). At other locations, I have had the staff comme out to help with the hookup of the trailer, but perhaps this was over and above was is normally provided.

JEAN-JACQUES BI was supposed to pick up my truck at another location using the app. The app could not detect my location even though my settings were good. I spent well over half an hour on the phone wit lh 3 different people and had to go to the Glendennigs location in the end. In the meantime I had to pay movers $150 for doing nothing while they waited for me to get a truck. All because the Uhaul app was not functioning properly.

bobby rThe hold down straps on the auto carrier were worn and frayed the ratchets were rusty and not working very well it took 2.5 hours tovoff load my vehicle when I arrived at my destination. The truck jh2424j leaked during a rain storm and damaged 3 pieces of furniture other than those 2 issues I had a wonderful uneventful trip from NB to BC

Sonya OThe employee was new and couldn't help me so had to wait for someone else to come! I had filled out a reservation online complete w credit card payment ! In the computer it showed I had a reservation but I had to give all the information and credit card payment over again as it doesn't show up . This was not the fault of the employee but how the program is set up by UHaul. The dolly worked great its just the process of making a reservation is frustrating and time consuming to do it twice.

Perley PThe lady at the front desk was very pleasant and very helpful. Made sure the truck was warm for me and that we had everything we needed. However, the truck itself was in need of repair. I believe a bearing on the driveshaft is broken/loose and it caused the truck to vibrate and make a lot of noise. This prevented me from going on the highway due to safety concerns and had to go a longer way around which caused me to drive more miles and ultimately have a higher cost.

laura pStaff unable to find me in the system when I returned the vehicle an entire day early. I picked up the truck at 8:30am-ish in Shediac on 15Sep and returned it around 7:30pm the same day at this Big River location .The employee took the mileage, inspected the truck and this information was left for the boss to enter the return in the computer the next day. By the time it was completed, it was well into the next day, therefore charging me for 2 days vs 1. I was expecting to receive a refund for the unused day, but apparently that won’t happen now. If you read this comment Uhaul , perhaps you would could do the right thing and reimburse me for the unused day. Thank you.

Rosmarie LLove the note on the dash that if the box was not cleaned there would be a $25 charge to have it cleaned. However the cab was full of dog hair, windshield and side windows were very dirty with finger prints and big matter. More concentration should be paid attention to keep the cab clean as well.This is the number 1 reason I would not recommend U-Haul. .69 cents is a little outrages for the mileage and too have a dirty vehicle.

Daniel Bthe location of my rental was excellent, however, my uhaul experience was not. I had rented a 15' truck 3 weeks prior to my moviing date. I received a call later that day claiming that the 15' was not available, but they could promise a 10'. I was fine with that. I then received a call 2 days prior to the move to inform me that it was no longer available and only a pick up truck was available. I was not able to complete my move with the pick up as it is much smaller, and had to make extra trips which ended up costing more in mileage. I feel like this is unacceptable!! Your web site claims that reservations are guatanteed, which is clearly false advertisement!!!
Julie RThe only thing would be to check the sound system on the truck we had. Every time we started the engine, the radio would turn on very loud no matter what volume we previously had.
