Ramesh RI am not pleased with the maintenance of the u haul trucks, while using the vehicle after about 15-20 miles the 10’ truck died on the side of the road. After calling roadside assistance they made us wait over an hour for a tow truck driver from philly to come all the way to KoP. Severely disappointed and this made my move take much longer.

Mustafa SThe van was clean but not maintained at all, I believe they have not done all change for a long time, I have a picture of the fluid level low on the dash, I had to top up the wiper fluid with 3 gallons of wiper fluid and still the van could not spray out fluid A journey of 2 hrs 30 minutes took me almost 4 hrs because I had to stop for almost every 20 minutes to clean up the front shield glass due to Blaird vision from the snow salt.

Murali MEquipment was parked in a ridiculous location, sandwiched tightly between two other U-Haul trucks of the same size with four gas pumps >10 feet behind the truck, causing significant difficulty even getting the truck out of the spot. The truck was completely filthy and disgusting in both the front cab and rear loading space. Dash and cupholders were disgusting and seemed they hadn't been cleaned EVER. Truck was also missing the Furniture dolly I requested. I was charged for both the furniture dolly that was not there and a cleaning fee for a filthy truck I was given. Complete scam.

Vincent WMy reservation, which I made weeks in advance, was moved 20 minutes farther away from me 24 hours before my pickup time. When I called to see what happened, I learned that the original location wasn't open on Sundays, which is why I was switched to a location that was. If a location isn't open on Sundays, PLEASE don't mark it as available for a Sunday reservation! This change added almost an extra hour of driving to my day after it was essentially too late to make other arrangements. Please update your online booking system to reflect the actual availability so this doesn't happen to someone else!

DAVID LThe air conditioning needs a charge in the truck I rented. Other than that everything was great. Did you ever think about installing some sort of phone holder in the truck. This would help with driving long distance while following a navigation app. I brought my personal holder but could not use it because wasn’t compatible. Just a thought.
Joseph BTruck had over 103 miles. When riding inside it felt like I was in a dishwasher. Could not even hear my fellow passenger speak because of all the noise and rattling. Also, I'm pretty sure this truck had zero shocks! I felt ever single bump in the road, extremely hard ride. The air conditioner didn't seem to work. List goes on.
John SThe truck we were assigned was very old... more than 130,000 miles. The engine worked but did not shift gears smoothly, not sure it ever moved out of 3rd gear. The driver seat could not be adjusted/moved, the truck had damage on the top passenger side so that there was a hole in the roof (it had obviously struck an overhang previously), the cab and the cargo bay had previously been caulked together but that seal had separated, and you could see daylight through the roof. Fortunately, the move was very local, and the cargo area and blankets were clean. The employee at the pick up location was very helpful and quickly handled our request. It was the age/condition of the truck that was disappointing but it did the job we needed it to do.

Lou MTruck had a roach in it and it wasn’t clean. The truck drove off balance and made a whole lot of noise. It was very unpleasant to drive. I probably wouldn’t rent from this location again unless they fix their issues. The location was great overall.

Valerie MWhen we arrived to pickup our reserved vehicle, a cargo van, we were told there wouldn't be one in fact for several hours, because whoever had it out wasn't bringing it back for several more hours. What is the point of reserving if it means nothing? We were able to rent a larger vehicle from the location, but had to pay more for it because it was larger. We should have been given the larger vehicle (which I did not want or need) at least at the same rate as the smaller. What kind of service is this? Very poor. And the vehicle upon entering had obviously not been cleaned at all, as there was trash from previous users in it. I hope to not need to rent anything ever again from this place, and next time will go to Home Depot first for such things.

Nir KThere was very bad smell, body odor though the whole front cabin of the truck it was overwhelming that I had to clean the entire interior with clorox wipes to try to get rid of the smell as it was very strong and nauseating. I was only able to rid 50% of the smell
SU LNeed to have the app work first of all. Next one person dealing with the equipment. Never came out to look over the truck or answer questions. Not the best place to rent a u-haul.

Eric PEverything was fine when we picked up, but there was a different clerk when we dropped off. He was confused and very difficult to understand. The location was a gas station and we had to wait while they waited on other customers, even though we were there first. It was difficult to park the van since they had the vehicles so close together.
DAVID TI ordered moving blanket two days in advance and they didn't have them and couldn't say why. When I opened the truck there was one moving blanket so the truck wasn't clean but the blanket helped. I use this gas station regularly so I hope they can improve this situation.

ANTHONY HThe drop off process was TERRIBLE! The procedure to just drop off and settle my account was very inefficient. The attendant needed me to do the process through MY email. PLUS.... when I picked up my van the tank was 3/4 full. I knew this was going to be a problem. SUGGESTION: When people rent a vehicle (like renting a car at the airport), you return it FULL so that when the next person rents it, you have a full tank, and then fill it before returning. The attendant asked if I filled the tank up. I said no. He said fill it up to about here (and pointed to the meter). RIDICIULUS!!! I asked, how exactly do I do that. This was a terrible experience.

SANDEEP RThis is not a full service U-Haul location; just a gas station with rental trucks on its cramped lot. The check-in process was tedious and the attendant lacked communication skills (gave no discernible directions and rang up snacks for shoppers while waiting for the slow system to respond). The van interior was dirty, but there was nothing to be done since there were no other vans of that size available. So I had to do their job for them and vacuum the entire cargo bed before loading. In the future, I’ll only rent from reputable U-Haul locations.

I was told by this location that they NEVER have these items, that the website should not allow the choice to rent them, and that I would have to “call around” to see if any other locations had them—that’s outrageous! I needed to move at that moment, not spend another precious few hours looking for stuff. Nowhere on the website does it indicate that these items might not be available. What’s the point of a reservation system that can’t guarantee inventory? GET IT TOGETHER U-HAUL
Mark GThe lady at Pick up location is very rude & bad attitude she was on phone for 20 minutes while I was waiting and that is a personal call not related business and so slow and when she give me the key for truck she didn't bother to come out and tell me where is truck I was going round and round in parking lot for 15 minutes then I go back in store and I ask her please can you help me to find a truck then she says it's parked behind the building so I have bad experience and I will not rent truck from uhaul not from that location sorry about it

Juan DThe check in process was not easy but I don’t think that was the stores problem. The person checking us in did help me but they were not friendly and seemed annoyed we didn’t know what we needed to do. The truck we rented broke down an hour from where we picked it up. When calling the store to help us they kept hanging up on us. We finally called UHaul roadside assistance and they were super helpful. They walked us through exactly what was going to happen and when they could be there. Unfortunately, no one could get to us for two hours so we had to wait. But the guy who showed up was awesome, had the parts he needed and fixed the truck. When returning the truck the person helping us seemed annoyed that their truck broke down but they did tell us what we needed to do to submit a claim. Within less than 24 hrs U Haul had credited me for the truck. It was an unfortunate day but the company U-Haul was great and took care of us. But would not recommend renting from Global Gas since there are several U Haul rental locations in our area that have given us great service in the past.
