Tell the numbnuts at UHaul to stop changing the truck location!! I had to drive an additional 12+ miles out of the way to get the truck. Plus after completing all online transactions, I had to do it all over again at the pickup site. When turning the truck back in, the app would not accept the location. The whole process MAKES NO SENSE. Golden Classics is just fine and their customer service is fine. But UHaul SUCKS!! I've used UHaul for years, but will no longer be using them for truck rentals. UHaul is clearly not committed to user friendly and customer-based service. They are much more interested in upcharging to maximize financial benefit.CHARLES S.

No improvements needed for the Uhaul services or equipmentâ€¦that was a wonderful and smooth experience! HIGHLY recommend Golden Classics in Gainesville, GA to everyone!!! The movers, BigOnes Moving and Cleaning, that I hired from Movinghelp.com were another story! Giorgio gave me the same BS story he gave his customer literally the day beforeâ€¦a tree fell on his roof and would be DELAYED. From 7:42AM until 12:56PM, he claimed he was getting his family into an Airbnb. Said he was picking up his crew and on way. He kept in contact with me via text stating he was finishing up with his family ALL day. When I text him to see if him and his crew were near at 2:56, there was a supposed snag with the Airbnb keys and said if i wanted to cancel to hire a new crew, he would understand. I called Ihaul and Movinghelp.com to make a complaint. They did refundmy money, but also told me the mover had been completing other jobs ALL day long!! At 4:16PM, Giorgio had the nerve to then text me telling me to have a BLESSED DAY, stating he did his best to get to me, sorry he had things going on and that I did not have to report him as a no show as it will go against him and cause HIM trouble!!!! Very unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest company. I'm assuming I was too far away, Gainesville, GA and he is Lithonia, GA and didn't want to complete the job for $260 even though he says he COVERS my area AND I booked his services on 8/7/21 AND verbally spoke to him to confirm well before my move on 9/18/21. â€¢Clean the truck cab. â€¢charge the AC with fresh coolant â€¢replace dolly with one with new straps that doesn't has welds breaking on it. â€¢remove up-sell blankets and extra dolly equipment when already renting them a dolly so as not to reduce truck sq. Footage. â€¢ensure that when customer is signed up for e-return that it is working when they report that it is not during pickup time so that return time is not a trouble and if not fixable, remind them that they need to instead have a physical copy of their rental agreement returned to the drop box with the keys and print that extra copy at checkin for them so they so don't have to drive home to go get it and copy it themselves when you already knew there was an issue with their e-sign in to pick up the truck.JOSEPH K.

Overall experience with pick up and drop was very easy. The gentleman was very helpful. We did not use the appliance dolly but it came loose during the move. Needs to be secured better.JAMES M.
The truck needed serious service. The AC did not work, the breaks were garbage, the rpms would rev to 4000 - 5000 rpms for no reason nor would it change gears like it should, it also needs an alignment, it pulls horribly to the right. The location of the UHaul place depending on the direction you are coming from or going to requires u-turns which in a Uhaul with like no turn radius is asking for an accident. The app which is supposed to make pick up easy is convoluted and time consuming.Melissa D.

Reservations were made on Wed. Dec. 2. for Sat. Dec 5. Husband was told U haul truck be dropped of at Compass Self Storage 2240 Sparta Way, Buford GA. on Sat. am. by 8:00. Friday evening he called to confirm & that wasnt the case by any means. He confirmed we could pick up 20 ft. truck on 3840 Buford Dr. Sat. 8am. We drove 80 miles and arrived at 8:15 to find that there was not a 20 ft. available but a 26 ft. We have rented a 26ft. before and they are more difficult to drive & to get in & out of places. We waited until 10:45 for Uhaul trying to find another 20 ft. There was not one nearby. My husband & I were Livid. Eventually we said ok let us take the 26 ft. They said they had already rented it to someone else because we didn't want it. A gentlemen by name of Byron with UHaul 770-926-1340, called my cell & said he was looking for us a truck to rent. Bottom line, we had to drive to Gainesville an additional 17 miles and rented a 20 ft. We pulled out of Gainesville Uhaul driveway at 11:15am, Byron said he would refund us the cost of the rental unless we were driving to Fla.. This was 3 hours after we were to get the one in Buford. Meanwhile we had two men at storage, which we were paying by the hour, unit waiting to load the truck starting at 9:00, paying $25 per the hour. We are very unhappy and hopeful will never have to use Uhaul again. Rick, in Gainesville was most helpful. To bad Uhaul doesnt have more employees like him.Judy C.

I was charged an extra day because the time of checkout and time of checkin were wrong. Trailer was picked up after 10am and was returned right at 10am. Clerk checked the trailer in almost an hour later so I was charged an extra day.Andrew B.

The first location, where I made a reservation to pick up the trailer at 3 PM the next day, was closed and door locked. Call the phone number and left a message. No reply. Call the Uhaul number and they were very helpful and sent me to a location where I got a trailer.Donald H.
I rented a truck and trailer, one way, was told one price and even went out of my way to bring it back to the location that said it need one. Was charged double of what is was told, after the fact that it took almost 2 hrs to find a truck for me. All that and drove 40 miles out of my way to pick it up.waisted gas in the ride to get it, and in the trip to the house to pick up my stuff. I am extremely sorry I rented from uhaul. What a messed up ordeal! If I wasn't under the gun to have a truck to pick my stuff up I'da chosen a different company. 400$ for a one day(24hr) rental.very sad.Ronald S.

The gentlman was not well prepared to lift the trailer from the hitch. When the tounge was lifted, with a rollaway jack, the trailer rolled forward and rammed into my bumper causing a puncture and tear in the bumper shroud.Billy G H.
