My experience with U-Haul was terrible. I had a truck booked in Alliston on the 31st of October. Since it was Halloween, I did not want to have the truck damaged I trick or treaters I talked to the owner and said I would be down at 7:00 am. ( It was probably a relief to him since the truck was not there anyway). Upon my arrival at 7:00am I found my book I g was cancelled but the truck did not get returned to the afternoon of the 1st anyway. After being on hold many times with customer service I was sent 30 minutes away to Schomberg stating there was a truck on the lot I booked and the place opened at 9:00. The owner did not show up until 9:30 and the truck also was not returned! Once again after being on hold with customer service multiple times they sent me a half hour the other way from Alliston in Mulmur so it was an hour drive from Schomberg. The people there were great and I got my truck - 4 hours after I tried to pick up the first one. My experience with U-Haul was terrible.

I have nothing bad to say about uhaul except beware of mover helpers. Because they failed to show up and I canceled them I have to post my review here. ⭐ 1 Star Review – Completely Unreliable and Unprofessional Patient Hands Moving was an absolute disappointment. They failed to show up, never communicated, and left my elderly mother and disabled sister completely stranded trying to find help at the last minute. Because of their no-show, we had to keep the truck longer and pay extra charges we couldn’t afford — all because they didn’t do their job. When I called to tell them I’d be leaving a bad review, they begged me not to because they’re “new” to U-Haul movers. If you’re new, that’s even more reason to show up, communicate, and build a good reputation — not disappear and leave a family in a bind. Unreliable, unprofessional, and careless. Save yourself the stress and go with movers who actually show up and follow through.

JAMES MAfter going through all the hassle, I went through just to get the truck and wasting six hours of my day overpay movers because U-Haul does not have any consistency. I go to return the truck expecting to get back. My $100 deposit to only be told it will be mailed out to me in the next 2 to 3 weeks. U-Haul does not keep their word on anything. The people who want to be responsible for giving you. U-Haul’s just play dumb. They don’t wanna give you their money even though you’re told that you’ll get back your money I would never ever recommend U-Haul I would rather pay two men $1000 to come with their own truck and move all my stuff before I waste my time energy money on a company that overcharges lies and plays money games with a customer and doesn’t even provide all the ways to pay.
