I’m horrible with names so I must apologize to the very friendly lady at Grandpas for not being able to mention her as “name” vs “the very nice employee”. I will say from first phone call to dropping off the truck she was friendly and professional. Would definitely go here again if needed.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THIS LOCATION. TAKE PHOTOS AND KEEP RECEIPTS. I booked online the same day and showed up for the truck a little after my reservation time, and they couldn't find the information. We discussed the fuel level before we got in, saying it was at 1/4 tank. We got in, and it was a little under, and it was no big deal to us at the moment as we were in a huge rush, so we didn't go back in to say anything. We opened up the truck at our house to load up for donation and the dump and found there were a few items left in the truck from a previous rental (or so I assumed). Once again, it's no big deal. We finished the use of the truck and made sure to fill up with a little above the 1/4 tank to account for a very short drive to drop off the uhaul. We arrived after hours to drop the key. One of the employees whom we interacted with at pickup showed up while we were trying to get the app to work. He told us to just drop the key in, and it would be just fine. Great. I'm am sure I'm done with the transaction other than receiving a final bill. Here is where the actual issue arises, I received a final email with the receipt for the rental. They charged us for fuel and a $30 fueling fee. They claimed we returned it under a 1/4 tank. I immediately called Grandpa's Feed to handle it directly with them so that it didn't cause a problem with their contract with uhaul. The phone call did not go well. I was treated rudely by more than one employee, including the employee I had dealt with at pickup and again at drop-off. They refused to do anything about the incorrect charges. After my call ended with the store, I immediately called uhaul directly to have them handle the situation. I thankfully had fuel receipts. They opened up a review of the incident and, in the end, refunded the fraudulent charge. So long story short, take photos before and after of gas gage/mileage/truck.

There was fuzzy green mold all over the seat belts and underneath the seats. The customer service and prompt accessibility was great.

I called ahead and was given very good instructions. Since we had to drop off when they were closed I was very concerned but the woman who answered the phone lay all my worries to rest. No problems and extremely easy drop off. Lots of room for parking the trailer.

Very small issue: The truck I rented had a damaged seat-belt height-adjustment loop at the shoulder location. The loop latch is broken, so the seat-belt adjustment is left at the lowest position and not able to lock at the highest location. Merely an annoyance for a taller person such as myself, but I wonder if the seat-belt retention mechanisms are gong to work correctly if the truck is involved in a collision.

The young man who helped me at Grandpa's was professional and very helpful. The only issue we had was there was mold on the seat belt for the center seat.
