I chose no insurance and when I was told to sign the woman at the front desk didn’t show me what I was signing up for and she added the insurance. I didn’t have an extra 72 to spend. But other than that they are good,
TIFFANY JThe truck, trailer, and blankets (only 10) were ready to go when we got there. At least sweeping out the back which was filthy from the last customer and cleaning the windows to make the truck safe to drive. On top of that, i placed an order for all this to include move in help a week prior only to find out uhaul only booked the moving help. Not the truck and trailer. So, we had to call to make sure it was correct. Then got a text with the wrong address pickup which was 45 minutes away. Got there and they told us it's at another location. That location was 10 minutes from my house which was this location. Just horrible overall start to the move.

Marlene SLocation on U-Haul was in a muddy grassy area and was parked between other U-Hauls and a electric pole. It was really difficult to get the U-Haul out of its parking space. No one was on site to assist. U-Haul steering gear was not aligned properly so I had to turn slightly left to go straight. The U-Haul kept jerking back and forth at low speeds during my trip. This left me consistently afraid of the U-Haul breaking down in which it actually did.

James PThe location was fine, the truck was new and ran great. The only issue, which was not detrimental to the trip, but was very annoying is the Onstar kept calling every few minutes during the trip from KY to SC. I am not sure why, and the few times I tried to get it fixed nothing worked. It made for a long drive hearing the chime every few minutes, then I had to wait for an operator to get the call over. By the end of the trip, It was like nails on a chalk board every time it chimed in. It really made it feel like the longest trip ever. Hopefully somebody see this and gets that fixed for the next person.

Russell CThis comment has nothing to do with this location, but U-Hual overall. Luckily they have great customer service (Brittany and Shannon) who helped, but this was a hot mess for us. We booked a 26' van a week an advanced, but 2 days before pick-up I get a call that it was taken and we needed to go to a different location. Once a new location was selected and agreed I thought that was that, but we got another call the day before pick-up saying that the new truck we reserved was taken. We eventually found another location that had the 26' van and booked it. Luckily that on was not taken before we arrived. After talking with customer service they did let me know this is an issue they already had upper management aware of. I really hope they get it resolved. The ladies that were on the phone though were awesome and made this hot mess a little more bearable. Remember when things like this happen don't take you anger on the service line, they are not the ones who caused it, but if you are nice they will be the ones to help you out!
Ashley WI didn’t have a truck assigned to me. Also didn’t have the truck I needed to rent. Thankfully with it being Memorial Day I was able to get someone on the phone and get a truck. I wasn’t able to pick up in time due to this matter and still had to have it back by a certain time and wasn’t able to due to this. We rushed all day to get the uhaul back. There was also another lady there who was suppose to get a dolly but no one was there to help her and she was sent 30 mins out of her way to Moncks Corner SC. The AC did also not work in the uhaul

Shanta wI do not recommend the app or u-hall the communication was horrible I was not contacted like I was told and had to figure out the new place which was Granite guys on my own. Your representatives were horrible and did not keep their word. Service sucked.

Nija Wyour trailers are hard for a 77-year-old to have to pick up and put on the truck because you have no dolly wheel on your trailers, very inconvenient for the customer

Dedra DThe woman that rented the equipment to me was rude, short and not professional at all. I used to be a dealer for U-Haul, so I was very specific of my needs and dates and times. She messed those up. I returned the truck with the same amount of gas, I picked it up with and she charged me for gas, when it actually was returned with more miles to empty than when I got it. The truck I rented had less than 2,000 miles on it…all you have to do is take a broom out there and sweep the inside of the cab and the back of the truck out…it takes less than 5 minutes. If it needs it…spray some cleaner on a paper towel or towel and go out there and wipe it down…it takes less than 2 minutes. And customer service is very, very big in this business. Customers are already stressed out with having to move, and you don’t know their situation, so the least you can do is be respectful and kind, even if you have to fake it…or you’re in the wrong blueness. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and MAYBE and I mean MAYBE 10 minutes out of your day to clean a truck before it’s rented. And you need to pay more attention to the mileage and gas, because every dollar and penny may make a huge difference to some people. I definitely do not recommend this location. She needs to go back through her U-Haul University classes or either close up shop.

Angel ZEverything was great accept for the drop off process. I didn’t have enough service at the location to do the mobile check in. I’m not sure that anything can be done but maybe a disclaimer that it might be an issue.
