Again this is not their main business. It is a quick oil change business. They took my key and said they would check it in when they had time. I left the truck at the location just before noon, and they checked it in after 2:30pm. I’ve dropped off here before and because they just took the keys and checked it in later, they said I didn’t fill the tank up to level it was supposed to be. However, I was certain I did. Unfortunately, that time I did not take a picture of the fuel gauge. This time I did. The only reason why I have used this location is its proximity to our location in the Canal Winchester, OH area.

Sergey STruck was full of ice and snow upon pick up . Dealer also lied about amount of fuel in truck said was between quarter tank and market before 1/2 tank ; the truck had less than a quarter of tank of fuel in it . I reached out to uhaul for credit reimbursement to which they replied they won't do it . Normally I always use uhaul but I am strongly reconsidering that for future business especially with truck rentals because gas is expensive.

So other than being disappointed in the cleanliness I moved on. Now upon returning I am being charged a cleaning fee. Why wasn’t the truck cleaned from the prior renter?

Carla SNo personnel just drop off. The app should explain the drop off instructions better - I had to move the truck again to get pictures of the back as this location has the trucks backing into a area that has a steep drop at the end of the lot - not known that was needed ahead of time.
Timothy LWe showed up during normal working hours to the location (Grease Monkey) to get the uhaul and it was closed and we were unable to get the key. No code for the lock box was not provided. After and hour and a half on the phone with uhaul, they were able to determine that the location did not prepare our order as requested. The problem is with Grease Monkey and not uhaul. I would not recommend this location.

Michael AI chose the location because it was closest to my destination. The primary business for this location was an oil change/mechanic location. They were too busy to check me in when I arrived in the morning, and just had me leave the key on the register. To my surprise, I was charged for additional fuel when I thought I left it with the same amount I picked it up. I know from the miles to empty, I left it in better shape. I picked it up with 141 miles to empty and dropped it off with 149 miles to empty. It wasn't a large dollar charge, but one I would have had a discussion with the person had the vehicle been checked in when I was there.

John KThe shop was supposed to open at 9am, staff came in at 9:15. When I approached woman about my return, she stated check in was by cameras on the lot and would not give me any receipt. On Wednesday I received a call from UHaul wondering if I had returned the trailer. Glad I took photos of it on their lot but would not recommend this location.

I returned with gas right where the picture I took had it, they charged me for additional gas but never talked to me. I tried calling, left a message but no reply. The man renting was not there. Had to talk to him over the phone when renting but he doesn't return calls after the process is complete.
Rosalind BTrailers need to be easier to connect to vehicles. Very heavy! I would have hurt myself trying to do this and had to go in and ask for help. Was afraid helpers would hurt themselves when trying to assist. Very poor system! Sending links to me to take pictures that I didn't see until after I left. Have to talk to someone on the phone rather than have someone from uhaul at tge location. I would never rent a trailer from uhaul again! Terrible service for a customer! This is not directed to the employees of Grease Monkey but at Uhaul for such a terrible setup on the trailers. My boat trailer has a crank jack on it to get it raised over the trailer ball. Had to use your back to lift this one! Very Heavy! Terrible system !!!

Travis HI had to sweep out the back, it was dirty. They said there was 1/2 tank gas in it.... there was a mark under that but I returned it with half a tank exactly even though there was less! Then you all charged me $7.50 for 2 gallons more saying there wasn't half tank.... that was bull because I have two others who were with me and saw the gas gage!
Robin BVery minimal inventory. Also, when I returned the trailer, the staff did not check me back in. I ended up getting charged for multiple days, which I had to dispute, when I returned the trailer the same day.

Wayne JWell 1 thing that can be improved is the amount of trucks that yoi have for these facilities. We were actually told the day before aft 8 pm that we had to go this location which was 18 miles away from where we were (while the location we actually put our reservation in at was 2.1 miles from the house) so we were charged 15.90 miles 1 way from grease monkey to the first location and then from final destination back to grease monkey was 29 miles (whereas to the lancaster location would only have neen 13.5 miles) 15.50 difference taking it back to grease monkeys. We were told that we had to take the truck back to the grease monkey location and couldnt return it to the closer one. We did so but that waa additional almost 32 miles that we were charged for. Your commercial state you can pick up at 1 location and drop at another 1. However both locations told us that we couldn't. I understand there is a shortage on trucks but still very inconvenient. Especially when the reservation was made your webpage said that the lancaster location had one. Very aggravating and inconvient

Benjamin BGrease Monkey took their own sweet time checking in the vehicle which led me to receive multiple calls from uhaul as if I’m running around with their property. It was very disturbing and upsetting, when the vehicle had been returned when it was due and on time. The uhaul was not clean and it felt as if the transmission was about to tank. I will never rent from that location again!
Valerie FHonestly for the cost very affordable and pretty clean. The process to get everything reserved was longer than anticipated, but I feel it’ll be easier to rent now that I’ve experienced it once. The app was awesome just make sure you don’t make your emergency contact someone they’d call to verify you or have a passport in addition to your id.
Tyler RI picked up the truck with 3/4 tank full of gas and returned it with 3/4 tank of gas and was charged $ 11 for gas plus $9 for extra miles I was not informed of. Grease Monkey ripped me off $20.68 . Shame on you after I already paid $271.15 to rent the truck . I will drop off somewhere else next time.

Natalie HThere is no one on-site to check you out. They hand you a phone and you have to talk through it that way. Knowing I was scheduled to return it at 11pm I was not instructed on how to return it after hours. I had to call Uhaul help line and wait on hold for 30 minutes.
