KENNETH SThe vehicle check engine light was on, only a quarter tank of gas (causing me to immediately put gas in it, and did not have an appliance dolly, which caused me to move 300lb equipment down two flights of stairs by hand. Poor, poor experience.

Walter TThe entire transaction was over the phone. I arrived about 10 minutes early from my scheduled reservation. The person that manages the uhual side was not there and it was just one girl helping me and the other customers at the gas station. She called the uhual manager to get me set up. She handed me the phone and I was asked all the same questions that I put in my reservation. It took 30 minutes for me to just get the vehicle. Returning it was the same thing. The only girl working in the store has to hold the checkout line to come and take a picture of the fuel gage. The uhaul manager was still not in the store. This time the phone call was on the cashier's personal phone to talk to the manager. I was overall disappointed with picking up and dropping off. The cashier was very patient and helpful, but for the manager to do everything over the phone was frustrating and took much longer than it should have.

The Inside Of The Truck Was Absolutely Filthy, I Spent A Hour Or So Sanitizing/Wiping Down The Seats, Steering Wheel, Doors, Dashboard & Mats… I Would Have Turned It Back In As Soon As The Dealer Gave Me The Keys, But I Was In Desperate Need & Nothing Else Was Open !!! They Charge To Much Money To Rent These U-Hauls To Be In This Poor Condition…

Harriette LCustomer prior to me left a ton of trash in the truck i had to clean myself. I got charged more than double what we agreed on with no explanation and after i was well gone and couldn’t do anything about it. Customer service was non existent. No one should ever use this location. They straight up will STEAL right out of your bank account. If I don’t get a refund for AT LEAST the difference between the amount i agreed to and the amount i was charged, I will be a permanent problem for uhaul.

Mickey CWhen I drove the truck I took a pic of where the gas was and she did tell me I had to have it back at 1/4 a tank but it wasn’t even there when I got in it I showed the employer on shift the picture and they still ended up taking money from my card for gas when that shouldn’t be I understand I signed a contract but if that contract is the same for everyone then the truck should have been at the correct gas line from the start because I put it back where the previous driver had it at and they do that not right at all but other than that it was a okay experience as my first uhaul experience

Gwendolyn BI had a reservation locally (within 2 mi). However, I was later told that there were no trucks available and my pick up location was switched to this location (22 miles away). On my way to pick up the truck I passed 4 u-haul locations which had the same truck on the property. These same truck were still on the property when I passed them again to go back the location (22 miles) to drop of the vehicle. I do not appreciate that my reservation after being made was transferred. This switching of locations added an extra 2.5 hours to my project. Please increase your base rate for the vehicles and don't try to make it up in mileage charges.

Robert BThat depends on UHAUL location. The person working at the Raeford location was not capable of hooking the car hauler up. That was a none issue because hooking up was something I could do myself. That might not be the case for other customers.
