The truck was not clean. The windshield was quite dirty inside and out and the driver’s side visor was broken. It kept slipping down when I was driving the freeway while the setting sun was super bright making it difficult to see where I was going.

Susan SI had a very positive experience renting a truck from this location. Starting from getting treated warmly when I first arrived. Brooke was extremely helpful and went out of her way to accommodate my needs. She answered all the questions I had and was very patient. I was able to return the truck after hours which is a plus. But at that time there was nowhere to park on the street (not much street parking is available) so I drove around quite a bit to look for somewhere to leave the truck. I finally found one but maybe there should be a designated area that customers can park the rental after hours. Overall great experience!

FRANCISCO BI will never use this location again. I purchased a couple of additional small rental items to make moving large items a little easier (a furniture dolly and furniture pads). I assumed the rentals would be in the truck upon pickup. When we got there we were informed that we actually had to go to another U-Haul location to pick up these items. Had I known I would have just rented from that place instead and saved myself the trip. However, when we got to the second location, and after waiting in line for some time, we were told that the rental items should have been in the truck and that this location was out of both items. They also told us we needed to go back to the first location to have them removed from the bill. We went back to the first location and the guy seemed confused as to why they sent us back to him to have the items removed from the bill but he tried to remove them anyway. After some time of trying he was pretty sure they were removed but when the contract was re-printed they still showed up on there. He tried emailing me an updated copy but for some reason it wouldn't let me access it. He kept assuring me they had been removed but since I had no way of actually proving this I asked him just to make a note and initial a copy of the contract. I didn't even care about the rental charges at this point, I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't be held responsible if the items were considered missing upon return of the truck. He refused to make the note. He said he didn't understand why he should have to do that. I don't think it was unreasonable of me to ask for such a simple thing since I wasn't able to access the updated contract and had no way of proving that I never received the rental items or assuring that I wouldn't be charged for losing them. Also, between the back and forth with this location and the second location, it took about 2 hours and drastically cut into my moving time.

CHRISTIAN SShouldn’t have to wait over 2 HOURS for business to open/employee to show up 2+ hours LATE. People waiting for pickup and return of vehicles! No apology from person. Then I was told they didn’t have my reservation! My pickup reservation was made for 10:00am and no one showed up to open business until AFTER NOON! Had to go thru process ALL OVER AGAIN which took more valuable time! Will NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, RUINED MY PLANNED DAY OF ACTIVITY! Online tools of phone, chat, or email did not work or were of any assistance!

GLORIA BVery pleased with the service I received while taking out a new storage unit. I mentioned in passing that I needed to look ok into movers. The lady told me you rent to their customers a van or small truck. That made things so easy for me and the van was available on the day I needed it.

Tony PMake sure equipment you've rented is actually in the truck/vehicle you're renting. I trusted that the equipment was in the truck. To my surprise, arriving on location and opening the rear, no equipment to be found. Disappointed, it shouldn't be my job to make sure a rental is as described.

Miguel CMy rental experience was a disaster. I rented a van over the uhaul app and arranged for the "truck share" pickup. The woman working the counter wasn't wearing a mask (both outdoors and indoors). She had no idea about how truck share app pickups worked. I was in the middle of the app pickup verification process but she insisted I had to cancel it and redo it with her at the counter. I told her about how it works but she demanded I close out the app process and come inside. Once inside she started typing away at the computer. About 2 minutes into it she made a phone call. I thought it was to Uhaul support but it ended up she was calling Frontier airline about a plane ticket for her boyfriend. She was still typing occationally so I figured she was multitasking. After about 20 minute of her trying to convince the airline that they should let her boyfriend fly even though he doesn't have a valid ID she gave up and got off the phone. At that point she looked at me and said "my computer isn't working" and now suggested I complete the check in on the app. I completed the checkin and verification on the app, then went to her to pick up the keys. I showed her the verification code but she said she didn't know what to do with it. She had to call the owner of the facility who then told her about how truck share works. The owner kept saying "just give him the keys" after she went in circles around how she has never seen this before and wasn't sure she was doing it right. It wasn't any better on drop off. I took the verification pics and parked the van where I got it. This woman came barreling out telling me that she had to check it in. I ignored her and finished submitting the pics on the app. I then dropped off the keys to the woman in the office as instructed by app and immediately left. She came running after me waving papers but I just got in my car and left before she caught up. Needless to say I don't plan to go back to that location. ps. I took a few pics of her without a mask sitting in the office if proof is needed
